Given that she was born on the third level, no, not for the lower ones. Problem is that she can't interact with people beyond the first step up (she sounds like she's speaking through a wall) and even there there's the problem that walking through people looks weird for all concerned.
Fourth or up actively pushes people down. Well, if you get high enough, being unprotected actually kills you, so that's not quite true. ^^;

@Raineh: Actually I think that should be d)! Just what happens when he tries to changes and is rather chaotic, just like what happens when he tries to get the mallet out.

Hmm.. I like that one too. So there are now five different things that could happen if he tries to put on pants. And thanks, I really am fond of this character concept - even possible that I'll use a form of it in a tabletop game too.
@Raineh.
It sounds good. I don't completely get it, but I think it's because I skimmed over the bios (I need to re-read the bios anyway) so I'm probably missing something, but I believe I do understand the power's mechanics.
Edit: *Ninja'd!* (but too lazy/busy to delete)

Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.Hey guys, just checking in quickly during a break.
@Uryu & character balance: Not changing my mind on this one. A sword that can cut through anything and can't even be taken from him is overpowered. And the only balancing factor on the arrows is the risk of hitting any or all nearby teammates.
@Multiple characters: when the two characters are an inseperable duo, it's a lot easier for the first-time GM to keep track of what's going on with everyone.
Like I said, let the RP run for a while and then I might be comfortable allowing multiple unrelated characters.
@Raineh: I like it. One question: if there're two people up on the plane where thay're intangible/invisible to normal people, are they intangible/invisible to each other?
Pretend there's something clever written here.Nope. As I said, it's basically another spatial dimension. Imagine that people live in a book. They live in two dimensions—the pages—and you can drag them from one to the next. They can still see everyone on that page, they just can't see those on the other.
Now imagine the pages are thin (so you can half see through them) and you can see opposing pages, and you pretty much have this system minus a dimension. You can see the next level to either side and sort of see the level after.
And, just to remind myself, level 0 is base reality.

I... can't say I like the look of where this is heading. If our characters are just going to be screwed over, screwed with, and generally treated as Cosmic Playthings for the entirety of the roleplay by what appears to be eldritch abominations, can you say now? Because... if it is, I'm going to have to drop out now. I dislike arbitrarily tormenting characters, regardless of the reasoning for it. >.<

Sorry, but I'm gonna have to agree. It's only been two posts. It's like reading the first page of a Fan Fic, seeing the word "porn" and closing it cause you think it's going to be, well.. porn.

@Raineh:
Just a quick question - can they stay in the "higher" dimensions indefinitely or is there some sort of limit to the time they can stay there (be it concentration, energy, etc.)? If there is a limit, then does that mean the "higher up" they go the less time they can stay?
On a different note, I'm not sure why the sonar goggles have multiple lenses... when only one is over Kestrel's eye at any one time. The only thing I can think of is that since they're essentially emitters the more "lenses" you have the better the return. Doesn't explain why they glow, though.
