Link surveyed the scene, hanging back a bit. He couldn't catch up to Blue, he was tired enough as is.
Perhaps that was a good idea, but on the other hand now Maus is fleeing. I'd be fine with him getting away as long as he doesn't mess with us...... It seems my teammates have taken the drafted emotion well, perhaps they didn't even notice.
Link's thoughts are interrupted, his headache maintaining its hold on his mind.
Let's just hope that this goes down well, it's not helping me if someone dies.
On break at school right now. We should probably wait for Ace's response.

Bet you didn't see that coming"No! This is mouse blood! My trinket is a mouse! STOP!"
The intersection... cars are slowing down. Maus makes a desperate leap, lands on the sideboard, and brandishes his bloody trinket, his other arm clinging to the side of the car for dear life.
"I wanted to blot out the things on my letter! Don't— don't make me try to hurt you again!"
He puts the mouse away and takes out more coins. "DON'T MAKE ME, I SAID!"

The last battle's curtains will open on stage!Huh. Well, that went easy enough. Now, let's see what's in this thing., Flick thought as he opened the envelope. Sure enough, a ring was inside of the envelope, just as Rock said. Flick quickly put it on his giner, making sure that nobody could take a good look at it. After that was done, he started reading the letter. Well then... Okay, now that I have a name and a goal, I should find some kind of place to stay. It's oropably not safe to stay right here. On the other hand, if I can convinve some guys to work for me...

Stuff happens. Post it here so we can laugh at you >=DRock's smile became a smirk as he read his letter.
This game was shaping up to be… so much fun.
He really would have to give his complements to the Orchestrator. But for now…
His smile returned its normal, oversized form as he turned back to Flick. "Hey Friend! Have you had your Moment Alone yet?" He didn't wait for an answer but walking up to him and holding out his re-folded letter. "Want to See Mine, Now?"
Gauze nodded at Glass' response, but something else had caught his attention. Rock—the funny way his mouth twisted and curved, the spring in his step...
...that damn arbitrary emphasizing...
Gauze needed contingencies, especially if Plan A didn't work. Furthermore, he really didn't have any idea what Plan A was, only what the object of it was.
The door creaked shut behind him as Gauze walked out again.

Whatcha gonna do, little buckaroo? | i be pimpin' madoka ficsFlick rapidly blinked a few times. Wait, is this guy seriously giving his identity away to me? I could just grab it, then use this knowledge to pressure him into doing my bidding, but... "Uhm are you sure you want to give that to me?", Flick said, holding out his hand to get confirmation. I need to make sure to stay on his good side. If he willingly gives his identity away to me, well, all the better. But I can't have him thinking that I took it by force...
Stuff happens. Post it here so we can laugh at you >=DAce was running pretty fast. It surprised her. She was catching up with Maus fast, and when she saw him make threats and grab onto the side of the car, she decided to act.
She stomped on the ground, and a pillar of rock shot up from the Earth, directly under Maus. It would either seriously hurt the poor boy's crotch, or at least startle him enough off the car.
Rock laughed. "Sure. You look Trustworthy enough! And After All, I'm trying to Make Friends here, and Friends Shouldn't Keep Secrets From Each Other!" He placed the letter in Flick's hand, but didn't let go.
"Though, Of Course, if We're to be Friends-" Rock's eyes narrowed slightly, and the enthusiasm in his voice dropped noticeably, as did the volumne. "I'd like it if you extended the same courtesy to me. Who knows what might happen if you don't…"
The moment passed as quickly as it had came, and Rock let go of the letter and took a step back. "Not I have any Interest in Making you do Anything you Don't Want To, Of Course! If You Don't Want to Tell me, That's 100% Your Decision!"
I'll PM you the contents of the letter as soon I see a post where Flick reads it IC, so you still have the option of refusing if you want to.
A couple minutes later, Gauze ducked back into the speakeasy, took his previous seat in the corner, and resumed quietly watching the ongoing events.
Whatcha gonna do, little buckaroo? | i be pimpin' madoka ficsHmm... Expected as much. I can't really expect him to give up his name and target without giving my own in exchange. That's feir enough, I guess. ...If I read it, then run away or refuse to give him my information, then he'll figure that I'm either his hunter or target, wether that's true ot not. If I don't read it, then I ruin any possiblity of a pact. And if he does turn out to be my target or hunter, then it's best to know that as soon as possible, especially since that way I know what powers he has. This entire though process took a good few seconds, in which Flick stared at the envelope without actually opening it. "Fair enough then.", he said, then pulled out his own envelope too. "How about this: We open eachother's envelopes at the same time. That way neither of us has an advantage over the other.", he said as he held out his envelope to Rock. Is this really such a good idea... ?
Flick waits for Rock to open his envelope before he does the same thing.
Stuff happens. Post it here so we can laugh at you >=DBlue gaped at the trainwreck unfolding in front of him.
The mouse guy decided to run across the intersection, while cars were driving by.
Then he decided to cling against someone's car.
Then Ace used his terrakinesis under the mouse guy in front of everybody.
Once everything processed in his mind, he buried his hand into his palm and released an exasperated sigh, ignoring the fact a crowd began to form around the area.
His group was going to be the death of him.
"You may call me Glass. These glasses seem to be the thing that identify me" replied Glass, looking at the big man. To say the truth he had wished the man would approach him. He was big and looked strong... so he definitely didn't want him as an enemy. Thankfully he seemed rather rational and good natured.
One of the group, a girl, is a little too close for comfort. Deciding that waiting for the car to move might not be his best bet, Maus scrambles for the hood.
A loud crunch almost makes him slip off He looks back. A pillar of earth has shot up into the sideboard, doing impressive damage.
"DID YOU HEAR ME? MOUSE BLOOD!" He points at the thin boy who called for his death. "I HURT NO ONE! I WON'T TELL YOU AGAIN!"
He clenches his fist around his coins. Maybe I could take apart the remains of the sideboard. Is it too big?
The last battle's curtains will open on stage! This is great! It's SO MUCH FUN! AHAHA!
"GET OVER HERE."
Flip charges for the car, and with a mightly leap, jumps straight for the hood of the car!. "You have some EXPLAINING to do!" she yells with a tone indicating the utmost happiness with the current situation.

I ship it."...forget what I said, there doesn't seem to be anything interesting going on."
Still, as long as the others coninued to ignore them, they could learn some useful bits. Rock and the other guy -whatever he's called- didn't match; that meant their own chances of not matching had went up a little bit. Meaningless, at the end of the day, but it was something.
"I don't mind staying here for a while, but we can go somewhere else if you want."
Unfortunately, Ace miscalculated and smashed the sideboard of the car, crumbling some of the metal. Blue's stomach did a flip-flop. Damn. ''Now they caused damage. Any minute now, the police could arrive, swooped in, and cause hell. And then denounce every collar-wearing person as a lunatic magician.
Fortunately, the damaged car caused more people to scatter than congregate.
However, Flip seem to have...flipped off. She jumped next to Maus with an overly bubbly disposition, bordering on sociopathy.
What got into her?
Blue sprinted across the street to get a closer view of the fight. And to act as protection—
Once again, the mouse boy sent metal shards through the air.
He jumped and extended his arm out. Hopefully, he was close enough to block them.
From the pain, he was.

"So," Gauze said, speaking up once more from the corner. "Are the people partnering just hoping really hard that you they won't have to kill each other? Or are you just trying to predetermine whether or not the killing will actually have to occur, so that, in the even that it does, you two can go about in a sporting, gentlemanly fashion?"

"Hmm. I suppose it does.", The man says. He then checks his pockets to see if he can find anything. Shortly after, he retrieves the standard envelope thingie and a switchblade. "Okay, let's see what's in this thing.", the man says whilst opening the envelope... then stops halfway through doing so. ...Wait a second. If what this guy is telling me is true, then he could be the one that's supposed to kill me. On the other hand, if he's not the guy who's supposed to kill me, then he could be of use of me. And if he's my target, then I can always take care of him later on... Either way, there is no reason to let him know my identity just yet.
"Uhm... Rock, was it? Mind giving me a little bit of privacy here? I take it you understand that in a "Game" like this I don't want everyone to know my secret identity right from the start. Heh, I might as well kill myself if I did that", he says laughing. "Oh, and as far as my name goes. Uhm... I guess Flick will have to do for now."
