Can you elaborate?

Both seem like they're going at the typical Toei pace.

I would like to point out that One Piece and Dragonball Z have apparently exchanged their own pacing.

Not really. OP eventually settles into progressing a chapter an episode (sometimes expand some cover stories to let the manga get ahead). DBZ Kai cuts much of the filler that was in the original series right out, so there's a much brisker pace.

It's more that OP's arcs are starting to get pretty darn long (even for shonen).

All I can say about the current OP arc is that it's pretty exciting, but we've been at it for almost a year.

@ Hikari: That is nothing short of awesome.

I guess this just proves even DEATH GUN will find himself as Lady Satsuki's personal footstool.

Considering Sanji's about to go into the fetal position, that's definitely an understatement, Frankie.

Sanji's Babe-Proximity Detector must be off, it took him seven whole seconds to lock on to Robin.

He definitely recalibrated when he crashed into that mast.

I'd like to think that at least a few of them survived.

I can't believe they're dead...

No really, I can't believe it. One Piece has an annoying habit of pretending to kill off characters just to have them show up at the end of the arc alive and well.

Well, I'm calling it a night guys. See you all next week.

I still say Pell should've died. Have fun crying in three seasons when they kill off two important supporting characters. ;-;

Lady Pikari, no cover stories besides the first 2 have been animated. Toei sure could adapt them but they wont.

Honestly, Kirito hasn't been as bad in this arc as in some others. Really, Sword Arts Online as a whole IMO isn't as bad as some make it sound. It's not as good either, just I'd say more average.

I think the fact that it is so average that it's the most damning thing of all. It hits all these cliches to pander to the LCD of the Anime Community. Like, what is even the purpose of there even being a harem really?

When you guys say that Kirito has a harem, are you saying that all of his female gamer friends have a crush on him? Or are they just his circle of gaming friends who happen to be female?

One Piece has an annoying habit of pretending to kill off characters just to have them show up at the end of the arc alive and well.

I read everything between Impel Down and Punk Hazard before dropping the manga, and I recall two important looking guys dying (as well as a couple of Red Shirts being turned to stone, I think). Are they still dead?
