A friendship based on "understanding" someone by exchanging punches isn't what I'd call a healthy relationship, Naruto.
As reviled as he is, in-universe and out, Sasuke is pretty on the dot regarding Naruto and Sakura's fixation on him.

Team 7 never laughed together once, Sakura.

Correct. He's no friend. He's basically Dio at this point, but more emo.
Welp, I'm done. See you folks next week for the actual good anime, like My Hero Academia, JoJo, and HunterxHunter.
Next you'll say, "Goodnight everybody, but it's time for me to run away for the week!"

That's right, boys. Mondo cool.Easy, slim. The overall quality of the series outside of the mess regarding the Uchiha clan hadn't deteoriated nearly enough at this point to drive away viewership (and as bad as the filler hell was, it only became worse as the anime continued), and it's doubtful that the anime's shortcomings would've been able to kill the momentum the manga had during this time.
And all this is discounting how, as a Gateway Series for manga/anime at the time of its inception, Naruto is never not going to have a sizable fanbase. It might not be as large now that the original ended and we're in the Boruto era, but stuff like that tends to stick around regardless of how good or bad it might be in retrospect.
"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarI'd agree, Rojixus, but when you have to waddle though Black Clover and Shippuden back-to-back to get to the last 90 minutes of the block, it might not seem worth the effort. I wouldn't like it if they did it because it'd interfere with my already terrible Saturday sleeping habits, but it feels like moving Shippuden back a half-hour and having either OPM or Lupin take its spot would help stave off some of the monotony.
And speaking of sleep, this is my stop. See you all in two weeks!

"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarThoughts this week...
- My Hero Academia - Soon as I saw the minefield, I knew exactly what Midoriya would use that metal plate for, and I was not disappointed... though I did not expect that last minute dash at the end.
- Attack on Titan - I thought Jean would've been the one to die, considering this series likes killing off main characters. Nice twist.
- Pop Team Epic - This show may rely on random humor, but I like that it can be really heartwarming when it wants to be... also, anyone know where the Japon Mignon english subtitles have gone?
- Diamond is Unbreakable
- Of course, more animal abuse... seriously, I love this show, but sometimes I think the mangaka seriously hates animals.
- I like the opening just fine, but I still prefer the openings for Stardust Crusaders.
- Hunter X Hunter - So we finally see the queen's last baby. When I first saw Komugi in the show's ending, I thought she would be said baby. Then I heard her backstory and found out I was wrong.
- One-Punch Man - I remember this episode being a big highlight when I first watched this show. The running scene, Carnage Kabuto, Genos as bad modern art, Genos with an afro, the doctor's backstory, Saitama's training program, and of course... the line. You all know the line. The one at the end from Saitama.
Nobody this episode.

I'm going to call it a night now. Since the Gross story arc in the cave is lasting longer than we thought, I thought I should post the Sweet Dreams Fuel I was saving for the ending now. Without further ado, here it is
. :) And on that note, I'll be heading to bed now. Have a good night, y'all. See you next week!
Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered!
