Hey, it happens. The way Shippuden has been dragging on recently (and by recently, I mean for months), it's easy to forget the series was once engaging and even good.
I think I'm going to call it a night here, so have a good one, everyone.
Ya wanna know what’s the saddest thing about about Naruto?
The fact that despite the atrocious decline in quality in its story & the anime’s disgusting amount of filler it’s still successful.
At least with Bleach when it lost it it really lost it. While it still made money it’s popularity drained & it was never as successful again culminating in its cancellation.
At least if Naruto was unceremoniously cancelled then it would honestly be a mercy kill to a story that lost its touch but no it stayed a money maker & now we have to suffer another show where Sasuke is idolized as one of the greatest heroes in history despite being a deadbeat father & apparent former psychopath who tried to take over the world as a brutal dictator when he had the chance.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I'm going to call it a night now. Before I go, though, once again, here's some Sweet Dreams Fuel to cleanse our minds of Gauche and Sauce. Since we were all reminiscing about Bleach last week, here is my favorite picture of Cirucci Thunderwitch
.
Have a good night, everybody. I'll see y'all next week. :)
Really excited to watch One-Punch Man again when it comes back. I adored that show when I first saw it, and along with Kill la Kill and Black Lagoon, it was always one of those shows that I'd hope Toonami would occasionally bring back for reruns.
This is not the greatest signature in the world, no... this is just a tribute.I'd like to watch Akame ga Kill! again. :)
Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered!
Akame Ga Kill was pretty cool.
I liked the Halloween marathon they did for it. Stayed up all night that night watching it and drinking Jameson the whole time, it was fun.
Normally, I don't support Halloween marathons for Toonami since it's not a travel holiday like Christmas or Thanksgiving, but that one was okay because Toonami actually aired on Halloween night that year.
Of the new shows coming, I'm also excited for Diamond is Unbreakable (JoJo's is the show on the block that I look forward to the most each week) and Attack on Titan Season 3.
I've never been a Naruto fan (Shippuden is currently the only show on the block that I actively dislike), but I'll at least give Boruto fair shake for a few weeks before deciding whether or not I should just ignore its existence like I do Shippuden.
This is not the greatest signature in the world, no... this is just a tribute.Toonami will be expanding another half hour again in a few weeks to 10pm
.
AOT will also get a double airing on August 25th. MHA will also start leading the block.

The Ao T double-up is due to FLCL Progressive's rerun ending the week prior.
THIS IS AWESOME!

Not only that, but it's now back to 6 hours long! It's only just a half-hour under the length it used to be before it was cut in half!
This is the first time in a long time where it's not headed by a premiere. My Hero Academia's dub of these episodes are now over 2 years old, and I worry it will make the ratings even lower.

I want to say that they should've put Attack on Titan up front (I think it's currently the newest show Toonami has right now), but I think 10:00 PM might be too early for a violent and gory TV-MA show to air without any major edits.
I still remember when they had the first season of Attack on Titan still starting off the block even after it finished its run. The ratings for that were not pretty, and I hope that My Hero Academia (or any show that isn't Dragon Ball or potentially Boruto that starts off the block) isn't gonna be a retread of that...
This is not the greatest signature in the world, no... this is just a tribute.

@Slimcoder At least the last hour and a half of Toonami more than make up for the Black Sauce Hour.
