In a series where Piccolo fusing with a random shmuck makes him stronger than Frieza's second form, the Spirit Sword is not a big deal at all.
This song needs more love.Oh yeah this is the part where they decide to suddenly have filler for whatever reason.
This song needs more love.Oh hi Great Sayaman!
@Spirit sword talk: My last bit about the sword. It was dope as fuck but being a stickler for continuity can really take the fun out of it. Really, I should just say "power levels are bullshit!" and just enjoy the awesome action scenes.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff. This entire show has no sense of power curves.
Anyway, you guys can feel free to lambast this all you want, but I'm with Rynnec on this one.
Was it an Ass Pull? Sure.
But given everything else that happened up to this point (including a Retcon of how the Potara earrings work just to ensure an Only the Author Can Save Them Now-level Diabolus ex Machina where Vegito Blue was concerned), I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.
If you're trying to make sense of Super by this point, you're going to have a bad time.
And with that said, I can't wait to see how you all react to what comes next.
@ slim: You see, there's this little thing we call opinions...

"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStar@slim: Eh, I'd say it was cringe in the Super Robot and classic JRPG way, which are so ridiculous and Hot-Blooded it stops being cringe.

I don't care how cool this was visually, the writing for this moment was just fucking abysmal.
