Of course, as luck would have it, some previous arrangements are going have me away from home for most of the night, meaning that I'm likely to miss the first half of tonight's block—the My Hero Academia premiere included. Hooray~
Welp, guess I'll have to play catch-up yet again. Hope you all enjoy it in my stead.
I may have had to get up at 7 this morning, but I hope I still have enough energy to join you all in the fun of watching Toonami. :) (and especially making jokes about Black Clover
)
I don't know why they didn't figure this out sooner. They fought someone who did the exact same thing before.
This song needs more love.So can we put Trunk's power up in the Power-Up Letdown trope? At least for this episode?
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.
Bulma's been a character in Dragon Ball for a while, she knows what's what.

Wait... is Bulma going to exposition the last few episodes?
...Yes, yes Bulma, we know know about DB Super. We don't need an an exposition.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.In a series with better writers, Goku would have had a much stronger reaction to seeing his wife again after that whole debacle.
I get that a lot of Shonen writers like to sheepishly laugh about "not being good at writing romance," but it shouldn't be a joke. Try, FFS. You don't even have to do a lot.

That's right, boys. Mondo cool.

I'm not sure if Sasuke's even aware of the reason the Akatsuki have been hunting tailed beasts, but considering his main goal at this point is the sacking of the Leaf village that doesn't really reduce his moral culpability that much.
Either way, I still maintain that the issue is how long Sasuke remains rogue rather than the actual gravity of what he does, considering Naruto's already redeemed a guy who just succeeded in sacking the Leaf Village while explicitly pursuing the Tailed Beasts in an effort to create weapons of mass destruction.
(It should also be noted that the person Sasuke assassinates in this arc has not only risen to the Leaf's highest seat of power, albeit temporarily, while being responsible for his clan having to be destroyed among many, many other dick moves, but literally has an arm made from the corpses of his relatives.)
