@ Yakuzu: How many episodes did you miss? That way, I can try to narrow it down.
@ Enlong: No, it's Turbines, though the pronunciation does make it sound like "Turbans" at times.

i'm tired, my friend![]()
Technically, Tekkedan made a deal with Mc Gillis specifically instead of Gjallarhorn as a whole. That distinction is critical because it puts them at odds with Rustal's Gjallarhorn faction.

He fought a Mobile Army which was a main weapon of Calamity War so his Gundam went overdrive trying to kill it cause Gundam's were made to destroy them so Barbatos took more of him.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."@ Yakuzu: Ok, that helps. I'm probably missing a few details myself because it's not easy keeping track of all the political alliances, but here's as good a synopsis as I can muster.
McGillis is using Tekkadan so that he can take out a Metal Gear RAY-looking Mobile Armor they discovered and use the honor earned from the achievement to climb the Seven Stars' hierarchy. Unfortunately, because Iok is paranoid as hell, he intercepts and ends up awakening RAY, which goes berserk and sets out to wipe out the humans living in the vicinity.
Luckily, Mikazuki eventually destroys it, but the data overload from his Gundam robs him of the use of his legs. Also, Vidar shows up and cryptically calls out McGillis for what he pulled in S1, just in case it wasn't already clear he's Gaelio.
(Also also, Iok's men died covering his ass, so Iok's now Ein 2.0 and raving about honor. For the record, even Julieta finds him insufferably stupid.)
In the fallout from the MA incident, Naze is framed for transporting an illegal weapon (some kind of railgun, I think?), leading Iok and his cohorts to label them as terrorists (or something like that), leading to this battle between Gjallarhorn and the Turbines.
And, as you can see, sadness ensues.

"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarAnd, if Gundam has taught me anything about spirits and the afterlife, at least he and Amida will be Together in Death. But still...
Brace yourselves, everyone. This season of IBO is going to put you all through an emotional wringer.
And speaking of emotional wringers, back to the Chimera Ants.
