@ slim: Eh, I wouldn't go that far. It wasn't until much later that NaruSaku really fell off (thanks in part to Sakura's fake love confession and her just generally being... not all that bright in regards to Sasuke). Before then, it wasn't that far-fetched or implausible a possibility, and I say this as someone who was rooting for NaruHina (which goes to show you how good Kishimito was at being misleading).
Now, while I'm not going to defend most of the Shippuden filler because a lot of it did strike me as utterly pointless (like what we unfortunately just bore witness to), I feel you're being a little bit too condescending with your opinions here. No need to start insulting people's intelligence over something as trivial as shipping preferences. I mean, that's a world that's pretty illogical by nature as is. No sense trying to make sense of it.
At any rate, we're finally over the hump. What's with Naruto and its overuse of ninja animals in this batch of filler?
Oh no, is this the Hanmyo episode?

@X 2 X It is indeed!

@ Rojixus: Awww...
@ slim: No problem. I certainly get where you're coming from. I just try not to get too invested in stuff like this because of how petty the arguments can get. The way some people get so defensive, you'd think these characters were them.

Good Guy Gilliam noticing all of Jim's hard work.
Nunnally, go back! You're on the wrong show!
Yeah, I know. It's baffling to me, but people are going to like what they like, usually regardless of dissenting opinion. (shrugs)
Heck, just think about all the potshots most of us took at SAO and how popular that series still is right now.
He's just that swamped and listless having to cover for Gene all the time.

Honestly SAO is better written than BC.
Its funny though for example I repeatedly see this guy on Crunchyroll who repeatedly harasses the comment section of MHA & articles related to it to say "it sucks, why do people like it, its tricked people into liking" it all the while praising BC as the greatest thing on Earth & multitudes better than MHA when that is blatantly false. The guy even shits on Hunter x Hunter.
Its hilarious cause people's tastes can be literally backwards & turns out BC's most ardent defenders are such backwards tasted people.

I liked the movie.

Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered! One of my favorite jokes. A character says "there's more than one way to skin a cat" and then a feline character gets mortally offended. XD
I still remember that exchange.
"That sounds easy; it's just like a game!"
"Yeah, well keep in mind there's no reset button in this game."

Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered!@ Beary: Not that I know, which is a bit strange because I'm pretty it's fairly common for Japanese media to have exchanges or jokes about the maturity of a character based on if they drink coffee and how they prepare it (black, with sugar, etc.).
@ slim: I don't think the problem lies with one's tastes (since we're veering into the magical land of subjectivity) so much as it does with people being unable to constructively critique the things they enjoy. If someone legtimately likes Black Clover (or even thinks it's better than HXH or MHA, as strange as that sounds), good on them, but no work is free of fault, and being able to admit so would probably make all of these inter-fandom wars a lot less headache-inducing.

"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarAnd here comes the feels. Poor Jim doesn't even know what happened.
Wow that really was sad.
@X 2 X They really can't. Seriously a lot of BC defenders can never construct a good argument or critique, simply responding from an extremely emotional, immature standpoint with childish grammar and sentence structure. As well as the fact they come off as contrarians.
Its why I can't take them seriously for the most part.

That's a good one though.

Isn't it a two-parter though?
