@ firewriter: I never saw anything going on between Gene and Aisha, and it was pretty clear to me, even when I was 9 or 10, that Gene/Melfina was going to be endgame (especially after Hilda died), but hey, nothing wrong with having different shipping preferences. Happens all the time.
"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarMaybe I liked Aisha, because like Mihoshi she was a dark skinned girl and there was only a few of those shown in anime at the time.
@Even when I watched the series sparingly, the show did go out of it's way to show Melfina and Gene were going to end up in the end. You just gotta admit that Aisha has been the crush of many anime fans.

@ firewriter: Oh, I certainly get it. I just didn't personally see it.
As for crossovers, not
particularly.
Which is strange considering how easily several elements of both shows could probably work together.
Agreed.
Welp, it is time for me to bid you all farewell. Have a good night, everyone.
Bleh, passed out during Gundam. Own fault, I needed sleep.
Anyway, I'll save my next time on Lupin for next week or something. I recall mention of what's Rebecca up to and when will she be back. She'll appear again (as will the serial) in the episode after this one. We get to have more fun with the big bad of Part 4, a clone of Leonardo Da Vinci created by MI 6, and elaboration on what the Italian Dream actually was. Oh and look forward to Da Vinci inventive mind combined with what he can do with new technology.
I'm so hyped for every episode to come. Aside from the serial, we've colorful opponents to face, another strong Fujiko focal episode that touches more on her side of her relationship with Lupin, two Rebecca episodes outside of the serial plotline, some action oriented ones, and one adventure in particular that's just... Hmm... Well, it's a story that's focused on an old couple, one of who is ill and set to pass soon and Lupin doing something kind for them.
Improving as an author, one video at a time.Since somebody mentioned how Naruto is gonna take years to finish, someone on Reddit did an approximation back in April;
thanks to Toonami's use of marathons for various holidays (and the random movie airing), there's 40-something episodes that air a year, leaving us with, as of then, about 8 years of Shippuden left. Now a little less.
Also someone asked what mobile suit Sandoval (the Dawn Horizon leader) was using - that would be the IPP-66305 Hugo.

Hugging a Vanillite will give you frostbite.Seriously, I was 10 or 11 when it first aired on Cartoon Network. This show will have been running for two decades, two fucking thirds of my life when the dub finally finishes. If it finishes.

Still, eight more years of Shippuden. Christ, that's the filler equivalent of Itachi using Tsukiyomi on Kakashi.
It'd really be nice if Toonami could one day have a full hour of the show to speed up the process...
In other news, I totally forgot it was the Samurai Jack S5 marathon again tonight.
"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarConsidering there are fans of the series, saying you wish a franchise would just die is insulting the people that work on it, right?
Watch SymphogearAttack on Titan season three set to premiere in July 2018.
Will we get a simuldub soon to air on Toonami? :D
Ok, it's showtime.
I'd make a "The Final Countdown" joke for tonight's T.I.E., but that strikes me as already overplayed.

I don't know if this is just me, but when I was younger but I kind of shipped Aisha and Gene together more. I guess it's because I found Melfina very bland in comparison with how bombastic Aisha is. I think it has to do with cultural tastes, due to how Melfina's type of character is more popular in Japan.
