Man, this flute + shamisen battle theme brings me back!
I wonder who'd win in a (non-lethal) battle between her and Kenshin...
"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarI imagine that Kenshin would defeat Suzuka and then Defeat Means Friendship would come into play.
@ slim: ... Maybe?
Silly crossover headcanon says she's Kenshin and Kaoru's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great... great-granddaughter given the wooden sword and Implausible Fencing Powers, so it's all moot in my mind.

Yeah, Gene using the Light Shields to perform a blade catch was pretty cool.
True, but Suzuka has enough strength and skill to slice through a truck with that thing, so Gene was taking the necessary precautions.

"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarAnother good night for Toonami, I'd say. See you all next week, along with the return of Iron-Blooded Orphans.
Would it be like in World of Warcraft, where if two healing classes who are especially good at what they do duel each other and keep on healing, it could potentially last forever? XD
Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered!I forgot to comment on that episode of Lupin ahead of time! I must say, that's my favorite episode of the whole season due to how character-driven it is by Lupin and Zenigata. Fun fact, it's an adaption of a manga Lupin storyline.
Anyway, as a consequence as everything that's happened in the previous few episodes, Lupin is now broke! Well, when a thief doesn't have any money, there's only one thing to do...
The next stage of the serial arc is going to pick up at the end of this episode.
