To the very least, Gallajhorn starts smartening up about Tekkadan come the second season.
Carta, Combat by Champion only works when you have an army behind you and your enemy wants to avoid a bloody battle. If you come at your enemy with everything you have, they have no reason to hold anything back.
I'll certainly miss hearing Lady Satsuki's lovely voice on a weekly basis.
Looks like we're getting into the standard learning-the-show's-Supernatural Martial Arts stage of H x H.
I'd like to be the first man on the moon.People weren't kidding when they said that this leg of the series would really split the fandom's perspective on who's stooping to lower levels in this war.

I have a message from another time...Its cool that this series is such a slow burn. Over 30 episodes in & the heroes are finally getting some epic superpower or something & even then they only have the most bottom-rank basic of abilities.
Most other series would have given them the power from the start or they would have unlocked in less then 10 episodes or so.
Its pretty cool.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."@ slim: That's probably the one thing I like best about H x H. It's patient. Nothing feels rushed.
I'd like to be the first man on the moon.Unfortunately (or perhaps not), there was no pause in the action to allow the narrator to describe what each attack does.
"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStar@ slim: The ones in YYH were actually pretty simple explanations of how attacks like the Spirit Gun or items like Yusuke's Spirit Detective tools operated (and not full-on instances of Explaining Your Powers to the Enemy, which tend to backfire spectacularly for the expositor whenever they're used), accompanied by the narrator's incredibly smooth voice providing the exposition. Plus, they were phased out after the Four Kings arc ended. I honestly don't think I would've been able to get through the Dark Tournament if we had so much commentary thrown out during the fights on top of Koto and/or Juri's announcing.
@ myth: And Killua already had a Kurama-like moment where he lost a match but killed the victor in the process.
