Looks like we're in that weird part of Toonami again.
"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarYou know a situation is fucked up when Orochimaru murdering children can be considered a positive decision.
I can't see it actually preventing it, though. A lot of suffering would have happened regardless of them. They weren't the root of things.
And thank you! That damn video is over!

Improving as an author, one video at a time.Kishimoto does love the Two Guys and a Girl trope, doesn't he?

Do not obey in advance.@ slim: I'm with Prime here. Killing the kids might have prevented some events later down the road, but the endgame would likely be the same so long as Madara is driving the machine.
@ Beary: Yes, yes he does.

"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarLong story short, yes. They're connected to Akatsuki in the present day, and two of them are currently members. Technically speaking, all three of them are, since one of them is more or less controlling the corpse of another as a puppet.
"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStar@Roji Very important, given who they grow up to be: Akatsuki founders.
Also, they were seriously surprised when Orochimaru turned out to be a serial killer?
@ Prime: To be fair, it's not unheard of for people in real life to be shocked to learn and be in denial of (or even willfully blind to) the fact that their loved ones have become serial killers and other types of criminals, even when the signs are right there.
@ Gojira: Well, yeah, but that's a much, much later plot twist. One that a lot of the fanbase wants to forget.

"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarOh I know. But on the other hand, Orochimaru was so Obviously Evil that it's such a "Really?" to me when anybody reacts with shock.
Improving as an author, one video at a time.Basically, Orochimaru underwent some major Motive Decay regarding his reasons for learning all the world's jutsus, and his old comrades held out hope in vain that they could still be allies until Orochimaru made it quite clear he's one of the few people in the setting immune to The Power of Friendship.
"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarTalking clearly with a sword in your mouth? Even more impressive.
Either Loot Command or a variant of Robbing the Dead.
And on that note, I bid you all good night! See you next week!

A little late due to a slow load, but the fuck Orochimaru?!
