@ Prime: "It's not your fault you'll kill me, my loved ones, and anyone else who is unfortunate enough to cross paths with you if I choose not to kill you. -_-"
Well, at least he realized his logic was partially flawed and killed Gotou anyway.
"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarIt's not that I hate Parasyte, it's just that I've all but lost the ability to care about the show in any way. It's not really Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy, it's just...meh.
I'm glad he did it. I hate this Thou Shalt Not Kill nonsense. Your honor is a small comfort to the people your enemy is going to slaughter because you didn't do everything it took to stop him.
That's right, boys. Mondo cool.Basic needs of the many. Shinichi may be doing something he does not want & is immensely uncomfortable with but its absolutely necessary for the survival of the innocent. Its like putting down a rabid dog. You won't like it but there's no way to stop it from hurting people so death is the only option.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I also think Shinichi was within his rights to kill Goto, but I'm genuinely glad he gave the matter serious consideration. (Though I seem to be the only one who enjoyed the drawn-out philosophizing.)
I'd like to be the first man on the moon.Call him a wuss or lacking a spine or whatever, but I agree with the general consensus. It'd be unfathomably stupid for Shinichi to let Gotou live because of some misguided sense of honor and compassion when he's killed every other parasyte that was a threat to himself or others without half the amount of navel-gazing. Sure, it's a philosophical debate that isn't new, but why now? What's different about Gotou that exempts him for a completely justified death?
Anyway, back to Mugen's "death" and the Japanese equivalent of a lament.

"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarMugen seems to have just willed himself not to die.
Eat your heart out, Kamina.
I'd like to be the first man on the moon.![]()

Well, to be fair, Kamina actually willed himself back to life for one last Giga Drill Breaker before dying for good.
Still, that's some impressive willpower Mugen's got.
Way to go, Jin. That's one more bastard in the grave. Even if Koza tricked you to do so.

"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarEvil Orihime is the greatest manipulator in all of Feudal Japan, and I dare you to tell me otherwise.
Drumroll, please!
Mugen bout to deal out the worst case of Cruel Mercy ever.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.@ Yakuzu: Stone cold.
@ Tsukkomi: One of Mukuro's buddies who was also playing him for a sap along with Koza. His name escapes me, unfortunately.
@ Lionheart: True, but that's wouldn't have been as cool or karmic. Plus, Koza's boyfriend had to be macho in front of her. That worked great for him, huh?

"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarIronic that such a manipulator is too much of a coward to kill herself.

Yeah, I'd kill Goto once and for all.
Do not obey in advance.
