The ED was left untouched, so it's exactly the same as it was when the show was on [as]. As for the OP, the cut from when the first episode aired several weeks ago is how it normally should run as opposed to the truncated version we have now.
"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarI love that melancholy piano theme. Probably my favorite cut from the soundtrack.
I'd like to be the first man on the moon.Given her demeanor and the versatility of her VA, I can see hear why you'd think Guren sounds like Esdeath. Heck, both characters even have blue hair (albeit in different shades) and powers that (can) involve crystalline structures.
@ Beary: Because they need Choji to do something before he fades into obscurity like most of the cast for another long stretch of episodes.
@ Great: How is Blade & Soul, by the way?

"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarOh, B&S is fantastic! You dash, you glide! The combat's smooth and timing is everything. I'm using a Summoner, which means I get a kitty familiar at my beck and call, who can even wear clothes too!
Only thing I must warn about are the queue times.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefIf only I had a PC that could handle it. Sounds like a lot of fun.
I've been zoning out with the last few episodes of OP, so I have to ask if I've missed anything important with Evil Hercule and his crew/family.

In my opinion, you need both unedited to get the complete package. The OP and ED are sort of like two sides of the same coin, and integral to the overall musical feel of Samurai Champloo.
