Per DeMarco's Twitter: they were going to try and get Lupin III: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine, but there was too many boobies for the censors, so Champloo it was.
A shame, that would've been a fitting replacement.
But alas, it was a Lupin III installment centered on the character who strips at a moment's notice.

Oh yeah, because the director of M&H also directed Lupin III: TWCFM.
My thoughts exactly.
And yeah, the Absolution's been blown up, SARA's gone, and TOM's fate looks like it's up in the air at the moment...
Anyone have any s they wanna belt out here?

I dunno, I guess Tom is gonna find a new ship somewhere. We can't have errors clogging up the bumps forever, now can we?

I didn't even know we were already in One Piece filler territory. My interest in the current storyline still exists, which is something I can't say about the Naruto filler.
If boobies and sex play an intrical role in the story of The Woman Called Fujiko Mine, why the hell did Toonami try to go for it to begin with? They KNEW it had too much of that, and couldn't simply be edited out. Honestly, it just sounds like it failed from the get-go to me. And by the time they FOUND OUT that they couldn't get it, it was already too soon before January 2nd and they ran out of time to acquire something else that was newer and just as good and expensive!
That stuff isn't like Fujiko one. That stuff is dark and has those elements, but they're more violent than anything else. Fujiko's show meanwhile is more sex oriented big time with full blown nudity and other things.
It's more akin to HBO type things.
Improving as an author, one video at a time.
CabooseJr uploads all the Toonami promos and Intruder parts
minutes after they air on tv. He's your best bet.
You think the audience will be able to help TOM like they did in other events?
The Protomen enhanced my life.Better grab some popcorn; tonight's main event is going to be here shortly.
@ Joe: Besides the Intruder assimilating TOM and becoming our host until TOM 6 comes around and shoves him out of the airlock, preferably hurling that monster into a nearby star/black hole?
@ Lalalei: We can only hope. Things look rather bleak, though.
Wait a sec... This wouldn't happen to be the same desert planet that TOM 4's crew was circling during their run, is it?

"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarA very special type of genocide that will forever lock me out of the best ending.
*dunks System_Information_963 into the trash can* Unless you're me. I'm above consequences.
