That felt a bit like an Archie comic. Or Riverdale, to be more correct in terms of tone.

Do not obey in advance. That's what I got out of this. Unfortunately, Prime doesn't seem to be around to confirm our suspicions.

The Village of the Rain actually. Completely different places.
Huh how is this flashback doing for you guys? Is it really necessary to explain Pain's backstory in such long-winded detail?
I mean war-orphans are rather common in this show.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."@ Beary: They're in Amegakure, the Village Hidden in the Rain, actually. You're thinking of Kirigakure. (It's confusing to keep track of, I know.)
@ slim: On one hand, they're trying to emphasize the Not So Different aspects between Naruto and Nagato, which is common for Naruto's major battles, but it does make Nagato's reasoning behind his Face–Heel Turn a bit hollow considering that Naruto had it almost or just as bad, yet didn't go rouge.

@ blue: That'd be great, though I fear GXP may have forever tarnished the series' standing among the Toonami faithful.
