Yeah, he managed to steal Jonathan's body after all.
You have to wonder how all of the other patrons in the restaurant reacted to Joseph's yelling.

Well, the original ending for this Part was Walk Like an Egyptian, which they probably can't use period because of copyright. Actually, would the use of that in the American dub fall into copyright laws?

Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Yeah. The OP and ED only show up from episode 2 onward. It remains to be seen whether they'll shill out to use "Walk Like an Egyptian."
I'd like to be the first man on the moon.@ slim: In the manga, no. The Joestar family's birthmark didn't appear until Part III, but the anime retroactively added it to Jonathan and Joseph so that it wouldn't seem like a Retcon. (

@ Lennik: Apparently, before Dio activates his own Stand, Joseph's body had some kind of Hermit Purple-like Stand that awakens at some point during the interim. Dio shows it off briefly.
@ firewriter: Yeah, most likely.

@Prime: I've been wondering the same thing.
This birthmark got retconned into the story so hard.
So Dio pulled a Grand Theft Me? Gross!
An evil man stole a good man's body.
