About Humans Are Special That might work if the ghouls were only killing one other person, but there is a limit on what "I'll die if I don't" can justify. Since their not trading some else's life for theirs, their trading someone else's life for however long that will fill them.
Again, what that comes down to is you saying they should value human lives above their own. That's what I can't agree with, that in a hypothetical situation where Ghouls actually existed, that the only "moral" thing for them to do or whatever, is just all resolve to die of starvation because doing what they need to do is wrong.
All of the mass-killings and binge eating is one thing, but for the ones who either can't or won't kill people, if they can find another way to live, I'm not going to begrudge them for it. That's why the Ghoul investigators are necessary, but their "kill/exterminate all ghouls" bit is not something I can think of as right.

Not "human" lives just other people. It would be the same if they were human and needed to kill a much of nonhumans to stay alive for some other reason (barring defense of course). Like I said before there's just a limit to what "I'll die otherwise" can justify. It's a more sympathic reason than most, but there's still a limit.
I'm aware there's a limit. I'm not arguing that ghouls should just be able to kill as many people as they want, whenever they want. Acknowledging they have the right to care about their own existence does not equate to that, and going "there's a limit" the way you are is tactically implying they should put humans above themselves.
That largely seems to be because they have no interest. Like, Amon think it through further, but his partner, and I'd wager most humans in general, don't really think of ghouls as people. And that obviously didn't happen in a vacuum, but it still makes dealing with the situation harder.

Lupin the Third Part IV is confirmed to be replacing Gundam Unicorn on June 17th.
And with Momocon still a week away, I assume it'll be there where we will find out what will be replacing Attack on Titan.

If the avatar doesn't give it away, I'm very, very happy about Lupin coming back!
Putting him at 1:30 kinda strikes me as odd, though. I remember how when they were showing Part II, how they moved it to the very end of the schedule at 1:30 when it became clear it wasn't one of their more popular shows. Do they have little faith in it, or does the 1:30 slot not have the same connotations it used to?
Well, I had hoped that IBO S2 would take Unicorn's place, but it's only been in the last few weeks that we've heard of VA's finishing their lines; so it's likely not ready just yet. With that said Attack on Titan also only has 8 more episodes, including tonight's, so maybe it will come along then unless they want to do reruns.
We could have as many as three new shows (or at least seasons) within the next two months! And Naruto is not only watchable, but at its best part! This is going to be an awesome summer!

My suspicion is IBO 2 won't actually premier until the very beginning of next year. I think AOT gets replaced by Stardust Crusaders and Tokyo Ghoul will be replaced by Mob Psycho 100.
And if that happens, Lupin and Mob Psycho will both have enough episodes to carry through into December.
Two more minutes till Jack's last episode ever. I'm almost starting to shake.
I'd like to be the first man on the moon. It's come to this. Jack's Darkest Hour.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your grief

Good night X 2 X, and have a happy Mother's Day.
