@ LSBK: Hey, I did say I didn't fully remember how that fight unfolded, didn't I? (It's been almost a decade and a half since this part of DBZ was on Toonami, after all.) Nevertheless, I'll concede your (and Prime's) point.
@ Lennik: Based on what we learn about the Supreme Kais, I think it's a fair assumption that he's still out of Piccolo's league. We don't even know if Piccolo can match (Super) Perfect Cell by this point, as Dabura is allegedly around that level of power.
@ Prime: I don't think so, though Dende might be able to given his reaction to the Super Saiyan God power-up in Super.

"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarYeah, this won't end well.
"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarNo kidding. Even with the violence toned down and cleaned up a bit for TV back then, it was tough to watch.

"That cheeky little devil."
Never change, Joseph.

"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarWait, I'm sensing a distinct lack of fresh beats in this thread...
Ah, much better.
"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStar"You are dead" in Sand Whale and Me is creepier after seeing Sword Art Online.
Hmmm... I still don't know good the live-action GitS is going to be, and that clip feels more Matrix than GitS.
(I know The Matrix was inspired by GitS, but it somehow feels... off, for lack of a better word.)
Likewise.

It's so hilarious how much of a big deal they make out of the Supreme Kai in this arc.....and then he turns out to be a total punk.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.
