Given that Hisooka doesn't seem to give a damn about winning as much as the thrill of the fight itself, none of this is a knock off throne or taking down a peg. If anything, he's getting what he wants.
Improving as an author, one video at a time.Mika's ability to use his arm in Barbatos despite his paralysis makes perfect sense from a biological standpoint. The key is the Aleya-Venyana: Paralysis is caused by nerve damage, preventing the brain from communicating with the extremity. However, connecting to Barbatos via the AV allows Mikazuki to bypass the damaged nerves, allowing him to control his paralyzed arm using Barbatos' interface.
So One Piece Gold takes place in the verse's equivalent of El Dorado. Got it.
"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStar@ Enlong: I mean in terms of the whole "City of Gold" element. Though even then, there's already Shandora. Which ended up under Skypeian control, so you're technically right.

"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarThe only gold things I remember specifically from the Sky Island arc were the bell, that wad of gold Eneru stuck to Luffy that ironically wound up being his downfall, and the goodies the good people were gonna give the heroes had they not run off.
I was too busy laughing at the times they nearly fell off and when everyone DID fall off Skypeia. Even Speedwagon Merry was afraid!

When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefGiven what that fall did to Merry, the ship had good reason to be afraid.
Extra drama so that this scene with Itachi and Sasuke could happen.

There is something hilarious about Itachi doing that of all things and Sasuke's "the fuck?!" face.

Kastro, being the first person on-screen to hit Hisoka, why in the blue hell would you explain how your abilities work to him?!
It's the Shonen-mandated Idiot Ball, I know.
