F..... You will be missed.
And it's kinda a shame about this prophecy stuff, because that is what I think kinda ruined naruto for me.
Warrior to the very end! My tumblr, dood!(passes around popcorn)
The music and visuals are quite striking. One would be forgiven for thinking this is a Studio Ghibli film.

"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarNo, it's not, but the director was influenced by Hayao Miyazaki's works and has been frequently labeled as his successor (though Shinkai downplays the praise).
This scene right here looks like a mix of the opening acts of Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away (and maybe a little bit of Howl's Moving Castle), for example.

"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarI definitely got Princess Mononoke vibes from the big, decaying monster.
I'm also digging the gentle tone and patient pacing so far. It's nice just soaking in the gorgeous visuals for a little before the story gets underway.

I'd like to be the first man on the moon.@ slim: Life's funny like that sometimes.
I'm nicknaming the mysterious boy "Howlku," for obvious reasons.
"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarBoy, this relationship sure is developing quick!
Asuna's reaction was cute, though.

"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarI loved the rapid, awkward way she gathered up the radio.
Makoto Shinkai clearly doesn't mind wearing his Ghibli influences on his sleeves. Not a bad thing at all, but it is very noticeable.
I'd like to be the first man on the moon.

Damn what a death. He truly did die as epic as each of the Hokage did.
Also damn I missed that picture of Ging.
