Komoe always liked this place. It was all... shiny, and pretty! And big. But not cute, there wasn't enough cute... oh well! She was in her standard form, the pink-haired, blue-eyed girl, looking around. There were other planesmiths here too... it would be so fun to talk to them all. And to educate them in, of course, the virtues of cuteness. Cuteness was very very important, after all. In any case, she was ready to celebrate and do all kinds of fun things today.
But, first... who to talk to? There were so many others! So many choices... hmmm...
Blah, short, but couldn't think of much else to fill it out.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."A someone-else post! First post awkwardness over.
Grace stood, in her normal form, in the middle of the large crowd, looking around. There was nobody she could remember well within sight, but that didn't stop social interaction. She looked around, attempting to look obviously open to social interaction and appearing friendly despite being a god with a very obvious handgun.
Axel stood at the edge of the area, out of the large crowds and on his own. His hood cast shadow over his eyes and his cape billowed slightly, despite the general lack of environmental factors to make it do so. He wasn't expecting any social interaction, but he wasn't closed to it, and it was apparently rather common here.
"I hate this place," Cula said, sitting at the side of the road cross-legged and swigging from a bottle. What should she care that people might look and react negatively? Either they were comparatively children, in which case she had no reason to listen to their moral judgements, or they were of her own generation and contributors to her withdrawing from wider society. At least this reunion didn't happen every damn year, it would be ridiculously annoying to have to come to this floaty marble city with such monotonous regularity.
"Why did you come?" her current... 'companion'
questioned, dragged along in case there was enough time amongst the planesmith nonsense to have some fun. Besides, it was always amusing to make people think she'd somehow managed to find another one of them only to reveal that, no, she'd just brought a dancer from her household along with her.
"Got to remind people I'm alive, haven't I?"
If the theory is to be believed, then it is crock. I know this. First hand have I observed the phenomenon, and it isn't like what they have said. A female of slight frame thought as she sat down on a picnic blanket in the meeting place, sipping tea. Just like how fragile this pastry is... The girl said as she lightly tapped her baked goods with a biscuit hammer, So too shall I break apart the inadequate laws governing this science. Idly then munching on said biscuit, Xilian went on ahead to sip a bit of aromatic tea poured by a inky spider tentacle blot monster. So engrossed in her self studies that she didn't realize others were about.

Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.Rubajo loved the ceremony. She always made it a point to go there whenever it was held, but not because she particularly cared about what it represented, nor even so that she could meet her fellow Planesmiths. No, there was one reason and one reason alone why she went.
...So many new things! So many new, interesting, valuable things to collect! She had to make sure she got first pickings. No-one else was allowed to collect them before she laid her eyes on them, oh no.
And what was that? Oh, that looked so valuable... It'd make an excellent addition to her collection. She just had to have it. It was so... It was so, so...
"...So cute~!" she squealed, as she suddenly latched on to Komoe tightly. "I... I wanna add you to my collection, ahahah~!"
There was a couple older-looking girls up ahead, perhaps they wanted to-Someone was hugging her?!
"Waaah~!" Komoe exclaimed, surprised when an older-seeming girl latched onto her out of no where. Not that she really minded, hugs were one of many facets of adorability! But it was pretty surprising, the hug just came out of no where like that! But surprise hugs were good too. And what the other planesmith said... that really got her attention. She appreciated cuteness? Perfect! She didn't know what that part about adding her to a collection was all about, but it wasn't something to worry about!
"You know the value of cuteness?" Komoe asked, hopeful. Some other planesmiths didn't focus on cuteness much, for reasons Komoe did not understand, "Cuteness is the best! I'm Komoe, what's your name?"
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Alameda was genuinely excited. As he walked through the crowd with his one-armed form, he did his best to disguise his excitement. So many new faces meant only one thing in the planetsmith's mind: new people to prank. However, all these ideas were replaced by genuine surprise once he spotted Axel. Alameda quietly approached the planetsmith, and, out of nowhere, slung his only arm around Axel's neck bringing him closer:
"Well, hello there! It's been a while since I've seen you, uhm..."
Alameda scratched his head. What was the guy's name? He had only met the planetsmith on the last Rising Ceremony, and that was, what, hundreds of years ago?
"Kids these days. Messing around at important events, being so terribly inform- oh who am I kidding, nobody actually enjoys this little gathering, right?" Thought Inneas, incredibly bored. He had noticed some of the younger planesmiths talking to each other, but he preferred to let people come talk to him - only respectful, considering his age (at least, he looked older than them; always hated the not-aging thing, thought it was unfair) - mostly because he was terrible at starting conversations without offending people. Something about his sense of humor, supposedly, but he hardly saw the harm in a few dead baby jokes.
What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?Alameda smiled, and nudged Axel on the shoulder:
"Alameda. Some call me the prankster planetsmith... and I'm quite proud of that title."
He then looked around, almost as if he expected a crowd to chant his name. Upon realizing no one was paying any attention, he coughed, and returned his attention to Axel:
"So why are you so gloomy, Axel? You're witnessing an once-in-a-hundred-or-thousand-years occasion! You should mingle!... From what I recall, I did talk with you at the last Ceremony, right? I tried to play a prank on you, and it didn't work out."
"Of course I value cuteness!" Rubajo said, not loosening her grip on Komoe for even one second. "And you, mon petit crème brûlée, are a very valuable commodity, yes indeed!" She was so excited with this rare find that she could barely contain herself, and began bouncing up and down on the spot, clinging so tight to the smaller girl that she bounced with her.
"Oh, um, oh, uh, forgot my name, ahahah..." she muttered as soon as she stopped bouncing. "Rubajo. Rubajo... The Collector. And I would like to add you to my collection, Komoe~"
"Waaaah~."
The bouncing was a bit disorienting. Komoe was getting a little bit dizzy, she always had trouble with getting motion sick. However... someone who appreciated cuteness to such an extent? It was worth it! So very, very worth it. And she seemed plenty nice and fun, so that was good, too. In fact... this was pretty much everything she could've hoped for! It was per-wait what.
"Um... add me to your collection...?" Komoe tilted her head, confused, "Um... what do you mean?"
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."At the tail end of her reverie, the girl's ears picked up some words coming nearby.... only to glance up and catch sight of the obviously rude gesture from some of the people nearby. Frowning, Xilian knelt down and began dragging the entire blanket filled with its contents away from the two. Though she was smart in many things, the blue haired being was sometimes a bit out there. Dishes clattering and tea swirling about in its containers served only to further to inconvenience the girl, who now had to be doubly careful. "Nghhh..." Sounds of exertion came about as she struggled with the load.
Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected."Oi, stop trying to abduct the little girl," Cula said, having taken note of the... oddness happening a short distance down the street, "You're not making a very good impression of yourself like this."
The dancer just sighed and stuck close to the planesmith's back, not saying anything. All of this was a little... new to her. She'd known that Cula had access to a hotel nowhere on the normal map but to learn all of this... it boggled the mind. It did explain why someone of so little apparent skills was so well-regarded in the world, though.
"What if someone else wants to give her a hug, too?"
"I am a god without subjects, an immortal with a body weak and frail and never physically aging beyond a pubescent teenager. Life is adequate." He paused for a moment and gazed up at an empty point in the sky, then returned his vision downwards. "It is not, however, one appropriate for such exploits."
Guilt walked down the streets or to be more accurate was giving a good run/jog. Delayed by his own thoughts, and with the planesmith getting lost in your thoughts had a new meaning. Though was had delayed him was an interesting thought.
At the sight of the others ahead he let out a sigh. He hadn't missed the event. He gave a wave, "I'm here."
It comes. The corrupter comes. Don't let it touch the tower lest all reality crumble.Alameda slowly nodded, scratching his messy red hair:
"Well, no wonder you're all gloomy."
He then smiled, placing his one hand on Axel's shoulder:
"You should visit one of my planes. I'm the son of a very powerful man in there. I get all I want. Food, guns, money... women."
The prankster planesmith chuckles, before giving Axel a light pat:
"Oh yes, it's an amazing place. Extremely fun."
Axel turned his attention to the booming voice and reacted accordingly, walking to the Great Fountain.
While his status as a planesmith was technically null as he had no planes, he was still linked to those of his mother and was nevertheless a god, thus why he was present. This was hardly relevant as the voice had merely been directed to everyone and anyone, but it went through his mind regardless.

Nobody can explain exactly what the planesmiths are. Most simply say they are beings of great power, capable of creating entire worlds with ease and changing shape. However, there is much more to them than that. Some were formed out of nothing, or at least that is how it seems. Others are normal people, who have risen beyond the normal limits of their race and ascended. There are even some that created the plane they were from originally from. Beyond that are even more complicated details, so many that one could die before reciting them all.
However, there are times they seem simple enough to be mortal. For example, one occurance on Henalmod, the meeting place of the planesmiths.
The plane's marble streets floated peacefully through a starlit sky. In the central area, many planesmiths had gathered. It was a rare occasion, as most times a group of planesmiths meets there are maybe two dozen, but this time almost all of them, from even the most remote parts of the multiverse, had gathered.
This was because of the Rising Ceremony, a way of celebrating the rise of the planesmiths. It was celebrated not only by all the beings themselves, but by many of the creatures they had created as well. The ceremony itself was considered rather dull, but what came before it was far more interesting.
And this is why we begin in the opening of the ceremony.
