Ach, is that so? Remind me what those questions were, please.

And yes, there should be names. They must be as punny as possible. Maybe.

"Anyway, with switch/slide, two questions. First, do you get on an alternate evolution path, such as a Greymon who switches to Geo Greymon then digivolving to Rize Greymon instead of Metal Greymon? Second, do all the switches have to be at the same level?"

Also, I repeat, we need a tundra and an area that's just one giant machine.

Might I suggest the desert be the Mosaic Desert and the sea be the Torrent Sea?

[up] what

..moving on...

I think the inexplicable sky area should be called the Cloud Network. :)

Digivolution will be based off of the original line, and Shift evolution will shift you to a Digimon of the same level they're currently at.

The desert that covers most of southern Israel is called the Negev. Its name could be translated as 'towelled'.

[up]Ah

Still, most places in the Digital World, IIRC, have computer-related pun names (or non-pun names), like File Island.

[up][up] That doesn't answer my second question completely. You have two slides... Do they both have to slide at the same level, or could I, for example, have one slide form at Champion and one at Mega? (I presume it's not "two switches per level", as that would be seem excessive.)

Also, are we calling it Shift, or Slide? Slide seems to be the official term. (I'd have called it digimorphosis, myself, but nobody asked me to name the process)

It's possible to have multiple slide evo's for each level (Though I think capping at two for Mega will do), but the higher stages take a lot more energy to shift, and thus can't be changed as often as lower levels.

Also, feel free to suggest better names for Shift/Slide.

Um... Parallel Digivolution?

So it's three rookies, three champions, three ultimates, and two megas? ...Wow, that's a lot...

Also, Slide Evolution is the official term, at least according to Frontier. But since we're not using Frontier rules... Digiformation? (Vademon, digiform to Dragomon!)

I don't think it really matters.

I mean, we had what...four Fate Stay Night RP Gs running at once on here? All with pretty much the same plotline but it wasn't a problem. Honestly, each RPG brings something slightly different and we can try things here that prehaps we can't do with Waltz.

And I clearly see I missed a massive number of posts...damn...

Oh, hey, Roxas, would you be willing to let DNA-digivolved digimon digivolve further if their humans are really working together? You know, something along the lines of Imperialdramon?

Presumably, the result would be brief but intense.

So what's all this about Slide evolutions?

Oh looky here I completely forgot Frontier had slide Evolution woo

[up]x5 It is, but the higher the stage, the more energy it would consume.

[up]x3 Perhaps. Right now, I'm thinking that there would be DNA level for ultimate, and a separate one for Mega, if possible. Digivolving from a DNA form would most likely trade immense power for exceedingly limited time, though, yeah.

[up][up] Shifting between possible Digivolutions, I detailed it earlier in this thread.

Anyway, another little idea I had. Splitting the game into 'arcs'. Specifically, the first arc would focus on introductions and searching for the crests. Once that's done, we'll move onto the second arc, which would focus much more on direct conflict between the players and having one side gain some sort of advantage, and so on.

Between each arc, it would probably be a good idea to have a little break, let us go over some possible plot points for the future and all that.

We should name the arcs after Digimon levels, starting with "Rookie". :)

Also, do we have to get Slides and DNA Digivolves approved, and, if so, where do we do that?

Should probably run choices by me, even though I'll most likely accept them.

So, slides are three each rookie through ultimate, and two mega, right?

I'd like to make a suggestion that once a Digimon has been slid to, it can then be digivolved to normally afterwards, mainly for the sake of convenience.

Is Vemmon okay as a slide Rookie for Gizamon?

Also, I totally call dibs on Dragomon. How could I pass up on Digi-thulhu? :)

Some sort of weird artificial digimon that appeared in one of the Digimon World games. It's freaky as hell.

I linked to the wikis...
