Honestly, if we lose this one, it's basically my fault. I took a pretty big gamble. I knew there was something off with Oceanstuck, especially after she failed to use her powers. However, I gave her the benefit of the doubt, thinking I could lynch her in the morning if she didn't use her night action. I thought that would be a certain victory, but I just plain didn't account for the voting habits of the other players. And now it's looking up to a coin flip.

Our best bet is Dauthium_Silencer stepping in and voting for Oceanstuck, but I'm beginning to doubt that's going to happen in the few hours we've got left.

Just tracked down and pestered Silencer. Good news is, they have been active in the forums since joining, so it's not like they were hit by a bus or nothing.

No idea as to their timezone though; didn't bother going the extra mile.

I'm very sorry for my inactivity because this is my first time playing this game. I thought the theme of the game will be the normal werewolf style so I joined since it looked easy. I did not expect that the theme will be renegade so I got confused on what to do.

It's fine. If you get confused, just PM whoever's running the game. It's usually that easy. Also, most of the roles are usually fairly direct equivalents of the normal roles, so that helps. In this case, the consulate are werewolves, renegades are vanilla townies, and the planeswalkers were seer (blue), guardian (green), vigilante (red).

What's important right now, though, is that the town just won.

In the middle of the Inventor's Fair, or what was left of it, Speedchesser and Oceanstuck were having their final showdown. Each one stood flanked by their machines and stared the other down, unsure whether or not to make the first move.

"I think I know what you’re thinking: I am a murderer, a Consulate enforcer, a startled dwarf woman dressed in black segmented armor. And that is all wrong," Oceanstuck said. "I am a member of the Gatewatch, or something."

"The Gatewatch whose members have all been killed or driven off?" asked Speedchesser.

"Well, it was worth a shot." Oceanstuck's expression turned to one of extreme annoyance. "Really, if it weren't for them, you'd have been dead long ago."

"But I'm not, and you have nowhere left to hide," Speedchesser said. "You might as well give up."

"Why? You may have the evidence, but you still can't defeat me. Not by yourself."

At this point, Dauthium_Silencer heard the noise outside and emerged from his workshop.

"Perfect timing!" said Speedchesser. "See, I'm not alone."

"Wait, what?" asked Dauthium. "I'm sorry, Mrs. Nalaar didn't fill me in properly. What are we supposed to do here?"

"That woman there? She's a murderer." Speedchesser put on his inventor's goggles and raised his torch gauntlet. "Let's get her."

"Right, right." Dauthium called upon his filigree familiar and began to advance.

"Damn it! I have to get backup!" Oceanstuck turned and began to run for her base, but in her haste, she collided with the master artisan Saheeli Rai.

Saheeli turned from her work and scowled. "Watch it! You nearly made me drop the replica Felidar Guardian I was working on."

"I'm sorry, miss. I was..." Oceanstuck began, but then narrowed her eyes. "Wait, aren't those illegal to own? I'm afraid I'll have to-"

"No one takes away my pets!" snapped Saheeli. She immediately called up a swarm of Felidar Guardians to seize the Consulate agent and hold her in place, helpless.

It wasn't long before the Renegades caught up. "Ah, good, she didn't get away," said Speedchesser. "Thanks, Saheeli. Do you mind if we turn her over to Renegade Prime?"

Saheeli smiled. "No problem. Now, if you excuse me, I have to get back to making an arbitrarily large number of cats. I'll see you soon!"

And so the Consulate's latest scheme was thwarted at last. The Renegades had lost many of their number, but they had rid themselves of Tezzeret's spies and had time to recuperate. After reporting back to Pia Nalaar on the situation, Dauthium and Speedchesser began to spread the word and rally others to oppose the Consulate and avenge those who had fallen. Soon, with new recruits angered by the Consulate's actions, the revolution would grow in strength, to the point where it could overthrow Tezzeret himself. They had a victory here, and soon would have more...

Oceanstuck, Consulate Spy, let the cat out of the bag.

You did manage to get all of the power roles, so props on that.

I had a sneaking suspicion on the earlier days, so if you'd be willing to satisfy my curiosity: was it really a misunderstanding day 2 or were you seeing if you could confuse other people?

Wow. Talk about a strong revival. We had a lot going on there, and it came down to the wire after a long Gambit Pileup. I'm definitely in for next.

That was a really bold play, Oceanstuck. From the aggressive voting to the fakeclaim, it really threw everything off. You really came pretty close.

Also, thanks to the actual planeswalkers for doing your part and securing a victory. Sorry you all got killed.
