Yes, it is, but it's also weird how they all speak English.
I suppose it's the sort of thing you could disregard if you want to because it never comes up in the show itself. But it is something that's been established.
Apparently their numbers are improving independent of help. I never understood that attitude towards pandas, they're hardly the only animals that don't breed well in captivity.

Wait, I thought we established
that Bulma is already part-Saiyan, in the same way Cell was?

If there's one thing I've learned from being a biologist for my entire adult life it's that nature is evil.
Almost as evil as we are.
Granted, we're the result of and a part of nature.
Any distinction between us and the action of the natural world seems like an arbitrary statement about our own self-importance.

Again, no species "tries" to die. Reproduction is hard for them for very specific reasons that are a byproduct of their lifestlye that they have compensations for. And there current situation is the way it is because of human interference.
I'm fine with letting nature takes its course but I won't pretend the current state of affairs is because "they've given up on life" something else ridiculous.
Edit: And yes, we're apart of nature, but we also exert far more control over nature and have a far more reaching effect than any other species. I'm not going to be crazy and go on about how humans are the devil and everything else would be great without us, I'd just like that effect be kept in mind when discussing things like this.

Nah.
What we're most likely to eventually do is wipe ourselves out and take everything else down with us.
There's some projections that indicate it's already too late to stop it.
The bacteria on Mars will be fine though.
Life will go on.
I'm not sure I'd personally call what we do "control".

> The sole current show in the 'frat boys in training'-oriented Cartoon Network that has a strong female axis.
> Now it turns out its females aren't even females by any actual stretch.
Oi vey.
we'll eventually outgrow the need for a planet.
I frankly doubt we can expand to other planets before we destroy each other.
Yeah, well. Take most Cartoon Network current male leads- Gumball, the GO! boy Titans, the Uncle Grandpa crew, Finn and Jake, Ben 10, Mordecai and Rigby, Clarence, heck, Steven himself... now age those who are still too young a little, try to imagine them all in one stereotypical college fraternity, the kind you'd see into any randy cheap US comedy film— and damn but if they won't all fit in one way or another.
That's the mentality CN favors for their target audience.

Re-rail.
I think Cooler is actually only a little stronger than Frieza, but able to hold his Normal form for longer.
The fifth form he took might be his own unique mutation that developed from his ability to indefinitely maintain his normal form (perhaps due to fully mastering said normal form, in the same way that Goku and Gohan would go on to master Super Saiyan 2).
Despite that, he's only a little stronger than Frieza, since Goku defeated him as easily as he did his brother once the latter busted out Super Saiyan.
One Strip! One Strip!I think Cooler is non-canon but, if we must have this conversation, I have Cooler at:
Base Cooler: 4,000,000
Base Goku: 4,500,000
Transformed Cooler: 160,000,000
SS 1 Goku: 225,000,000
He totally is, though since his movie takes place during the three year training for the androids, and little is mentioned of what happened during that time, similar to Bojack, he could be canon.
I used to question that, but after a recent discussion on the Multiverse thread, I even ended up theorizing that the reason he's not running the planet trade even though he might be stronger is because he might actually be shit at running the family business.
One Strip! One Strip!Cooler is weaker than Freeza, actually.
Even if you're going against canon by having him exist, the fact of the matter is, if he was stronger than Freeza, he'd be running the business, not Freeza, regardless of his competence at it, because Freeza is shit at it too, and if he was stronger than Freeza, then Beerus wouldn't put such emphasis on Freeza being the strongest mortal in the universe.
Then there's also the fact that he gave nowhere near as good a showing against Base Goku as Freeza did. Freeza tanked a freaking Spirit Bomb so huge it could be seen from Space.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariAh. Then perhaps his only virtue is his mastery of his normal form....with the larger form being something he developed to compensate for his weaker power.
Kinda funny really.
Well, I already know Cooler is non-canon anyway, but it was fun to speculate.
One Strip! One Strip!Despite Cooler being intended as stronger than Freeza, they dropped the ball by copying the Goku / Freeza fight too heavily and using Cooler's Final Form as a substitute for Freeza's 50% power.
Base Goku fights evenly, his opponent powers up (50% power / final form) and even his Kaio-ken x20 fails, he turns Super Saiyan and then outclasses them. And then Cooler's movie had to be wrapped up, so he ended up looking seriously unimpressive.
Really, the only way to make Cooler's new form work is if it accomplished something Freeza didn't, and actually allowed him to gain the upper hand against Super Saiyan Goku. But then they'd need some other uninspired way to conclude the movie.

Well, half- and quarter-Saiyans seem to behave as full-bloods in all but name, so there's that.
