I'm not sure if it was me or not. I was definitely a proponent of Pan being born super though(since the Kai power up didn't get passed to her)
Aura already extends beyond clothing. If Videl powering up incites Pan to do the same, Videl being surrounded by a golden aura would make sense. It's glow obscuring her hair color isn't too strange either. It's the eyes turning blue that I think takes it a step too far.

Buldogue's lawyerYou know what bothers me? This isn't just Fetus Pan going Super Saiyan. Due to the lack of any change in the shape of Videl's stomach whatsoever, apparently Pan could turn Super Saiyan as an embryo
My various fanfics. No, that's not what was said at all. Here's the actual source
and from that it's clear that he says:
- He was thinking of ideas for the next movie (so this was post Battle of Gods)
- He heard the song
- He then came up with the idea and immediately wrote the story
Nothing in there about being reminded.
The barebones nature of the plot is easily explained by him producing a tiny script that he admits was nothing more than a glorified memo.
Oh, wow, holy crap, guys, that was MY tumblr post you linked to! Glad I could share the information.
But it's pretty clear in the episode this seems to be a cosmetic thing. Her eyes don't change, for one thing. There's no real explanation given to it. And once the ritual is over, she goes back to normal and it's never mentioned again.
But yeah I was still pretty excited about it.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!So I finally got Shin Budokai (and Shin Budokai Another Road). I have been wanted to play them for so long but I haven't had a PSP so this is my first time playing them.
Both have an original story, sorta - the first is an adaptation of Movie 12 that heavily reworks things to fit every character on the roster into the game's plot, and the second is just "what if Boo was awoken in Future Trunks' timeline".
Playing the first game... Goku apparently has a motorcycle for a hobby, but he's not very good at maintaining it. But the best part is when Pikkon takes Goku to hell (to investigate Janemba) and Vegeta is too late to follow, so he asks Kuririn to kill him so he can join in. Kuririn just suggests he go get the Dragon Balls.
edit: "It's not like we can rely on Yamcha..." hehehe, yeah. Also, this game is totally supporting my Vegeta/18 Crack Ship, Vegeta is being so tsundere towards her.
edit 2: Vegeta suggests that Goku try a full power blast against Janemba, like he planned against Boo, but Goku says he'll need to be dead to pull it off. So Vegeta prepares to kill him until Goku begs him to try something else. Vegeta's really bringing his a-game in this.

if Toei is actually prepared to retire Goku. Which I don't know if they're willing to do yet. I wish they were.
I have to say that, for an episode where people were mostly just standing around and talking, there were really really ugly key frames. The Super Saiyan God channeling, was particularly bad too, though I have to admit I laughed at how ridiculous Videl with blonde hair seemed — and it wasn't a lighting effect from the auras either, as everyone stopped charging their ki. And yet there Videl was, still with blonde hair.
Retiring Goku and the next generation shining aren't mutually exclusive concepts. Five characters, maybe even six if Buu sticks around is more than enough to balance for an arc or two before newer characters start phasing them out too. I still maintain Vegeta is the one overstaying his welcome.
You know I just thought of something. It's impossible to sense a God's KI, yet Goku was able to instant transmit to both the other world and the realm of the Kaoishin. How is that? He's sensing the KI of Bubbles The Monkey in the former. In the latter, East Kaioshin and Elder Kai are fused with a Kibitoh and a witch respectively, and are thus no longer pure gods.
And that got me thinking about something else. Whis is the strongest being in the universe, is not a god, yet Goku has trouble picking up on his KI, which begs the question, just how far away is the realm of destruction?
Buldogue's lawyer

So...
Videl, the non Saiyan...Is going Super Saiyan before her daughter?
lol
