No, you don't get it.
What I don't get is where you get the idea that what you're saying in any way makes sense.
I really, honestly want to know if you're just screwing around or being serious, because that'll change how I react to this.

Also speed gain, because that helps.
Re-call that when Raditz killed him, he shattered the shot-gun as well.
Raditz knew that only by destroying both at once could he be victorious.
Bardock doesn't really respect anyone, except that one guy who died.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. As pointed out back in the first episode of Abridged, he was Goku's brother, introduced in the new story arc, died three episodes later, and was never relevant again.
Normally, when a family member is introduced like that, they have some role in the life of the main character, but not in this story.
One Strip! One Strip!"Dragon Ball Z" is still a figment of TOEI's imagination to me. I know attention to detail isn't their thing, but I really don't buy the "we thought the series was ending soon" excuse. Especially since Toriyama apologized when he decided he didn't want to draw Dragon Ball anymore and TOEI went and made that in response.
Buldogue's lawyerThere are many rumors as to where, exactly, Toriyama intended to end the series before he was contractually forced to continue going.
The correct answer is none of them. There were points that Toriyama thought might work to wrap up every now and then but then he got an idea and was like, "Ooh, it would be super cool to do that, I'm gonna write that now." Because that is how Akira Toriyama writes.
Also, Dragon Ball Z is a thing that only exists in the anime. The manga never changed from being Dragon Ball all the way through the Majin Buu Saga. The distinction between Dragon Ball and Z is entirely arbitrary.
...
While I'm pooping on people's parties, I'll also throw in that there's no such thing as Z Fighters, the movies are irreconcilable with the anime and manga, and Senzu Bean is a redundant name, translating to Sage Bean Bean. Because I am an asshole.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Pfft. Like that could happen. I am the greatest Dragon Ball master in the thread! I have surpassed Saiga! No one could possibly challenge - I don't think my arm's supposed to bend that way.

It's a cultural thing. If I'm not mistaken, the Japanese view weapons as an extension of the self while Americans (and a lot of other cultures) view them as tools that empower. It makes no sense from an American point of view but a lot of sense from a Japanese one.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!
