And you for bringing it up.
Definitely.

One Strip! One Strip!Slightly related, as it's also by Toei AND airs before Super, but you really have to question the studio's staff allocation
when all its best performers right now seem to be working on Go! Princess PreCure
.
Also looks that Vegeta getting his arse kicked this week doesn't look even remotely impressive as a result. :(

This is why I love it so much. Hell, it seems ever since its inception, Toei generally reserves their best for the important episode so precure as a franchise.
case in point, this portion of the franchise from the first season. Almost 12 years ago.

Watch SymphogearWhile it's a shame DBS gets shortchanged (didn't we determine already that Pre Cure has nothing to do with that), I admit, I'm glad Toei puts so much effort into it....
Though to be fair, wasn't the fight director for the first Pre Cure the same dude who directed fights for DBZ as well?
One Strip! One Strip!I really need to watch that. It's out Dragon Ball'ing Dragon Ball.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Oh man, of all the shows with creepy fan service, I'm pretty sure Pretty Cure (
) is not only nowhere near that list, it would beat the shit out of that list.
It's a Magical Girl Series about friendship and love. It doesn't do that shit. I've never watched a full series, but I know enough to say that with finality.
One Strip! One Strip! So, a small tidbit from Dragon Ball Super episode 8. Beerus had two things to say when fighting Vegeta - it's been ages since he's used 10% of his power, and he had more fun than when he fought Goku.
So the rage-boosted Vegeta is somewhere close to a 1 on the God Goku = 6, Beerus = 10, Whis = 15 scale. Also, I'm not too happy about getting more percentages from Beerus. He's starting to turn into Freeza.
Yeah, Pretty Cure is preeeeetty light on the fanservice. I mean, it does have the standard nudie transformation scene, for the most part, but... well, there is a reason why it can accurately be described as "DBZ with Magical Girls". Up to and including the silly villains that suddenly turn serious.
Most of the fanservice isn't of the sexual titilation variety, but it seems to be more along the lines of "we kinda know why Nanoha was so popular and we're clearly trying to do exactly that". Lots and lots of yuri subtext and lots and lots of young girls being massively badass.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariPrecure is great. It's really dumb, Merchandise-Driven, and clearly targeted for little girls, but it has some great moments. And some awesome fight scenes. And it has pretty almost no fanservice.
And in terms of Super...the fight between Vegeta and Beerus this episode was actually pretty good. As was the short fight between Beerus and Buu in Episode 6. It's just the outcomes of the fights are all Foregone Conclusions.
And in terms of allocating fight animators...someone answered my question about it a while ago.
This is getting a little off-topic, but in terms of Precure...it's like Super Sentai. Or Kamen Rider. Start wherever you want. Most of the series aren't connected. I'd recommend either Futari wa Precure (the first ever season) or Heartcatch Precure (my personal favourite).

The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!Well, I can only tell you that I started with Doki Doki Pre Cure, but that's only because a variety of factors conspired in me choosing it as my first foray into it. I'm actually gonna start from the first season when I get a chance to, but you don't really need to because at some point they just gave up and Power Rangers'ed it.
Also, this series has almost as much Les Yay in it as Naruto has Ho Yay.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariAs has already been suggested, Heart Catch Prettycure is a good one. Only seen bits and pieces of certain parts, but I've heard nothing but good things about it.
The first one is apparently also good (though different, since later seasons would eventually go for more sentai-ish motifs, mostly in the form of four-five girl bands.

One Strip! One Strip!Beerus is a cat. They've evolved to take advantage of humans.
They're dicks like that.
Either way, I do still think that his character was best handled in Xenoverse. He really doesn't work right unless he acts like a slacker who doesn't really give a shit, because then you have to justify why he's so inactive if he's such a huge prick.
Also, just as a last shot to the Pretty Cure discussion:
It's funny to note that while the series as a whole has a lot of yuri subtext, the season that had the most subtext of any of them, that being Doki Doki! PreCure, almost gave male love interests to all the Pretty Cures. Yes, the same series whose protagonist is now the goddess of the lesbian harem, almost had everyone be straight. That would've been a most likely terribad idea.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariHave to say though, Pilaf and the gang seem to be superfluous this time around. In the movie at least they stirred up trouble by stealing the dragonballs AND almost got Beerus prematurely pissed but in Super they're just... there. The TV series isn't even reusing the "Mai and Trunks are dating" joke too.
HUZZAAAAAH!!!!!
But to all your other points, that's a shame.
One Strip! One Strip!

This is the same Hell that let Frieza and Cell train with each other to get stronger, you know.
