Not to prolong the subject too much but I see my statement was taken way too literally.
I didn't word for word mean that sasuke had traits from every shounen rival to ever exist so much as he felt like an amalgation of a lot of cliches from those types of characters but without anything to make him unique or interesting in comparison to those characters, which is why I found him boring.
It's not even just me, I can't look up a source right now since I'm on mobile but I'm fairly certain that when creating sasuke kishi took a look at older shounen manga ( which likely included things other than dragon ball) in order to create what he called "the ideal rivalry". Obviously I have a different opinion of what he created but I've made that clear already.

Actually, I interpreted your statement as saying that Sasuke is actually crafted purely to be a rival character, which is actually the truth, because Sasuke was an editorial mandate at first, most likely because of Vegeta's popularity.
Depends on how old Vegeta was when Vegeta was killed and Vegeta was destroyed.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariRaditz managed to No-Sell Goku's kamehameha as much as Freeza managed to No-Sell the x20 Kaioken Version: Not at all.
Even if they both blocked the attack with one hand, it actually damaged them to do so, and they couldn't just shrug it off or just ignore it altogether.
Hell, the fact that he had to block it at all should be enough to tell you that it was an attack he considered threatening. I remind you that earlier Raditz just stood there while Piccolo unloaded a powerful ki blast on his face.
Furthermore, the Makankosappo is significantly more powerful than the Kamehameha, raising Piccolo's power level far more than Goku's Kamehameha raised his.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariOkay now I get why everyone calls Sasuke a successful Vegeta. By never suffering for any of his worse actions and having nothing bad slow him down at all he ends up being the Karma Houdini Creator's Pet we all hate him for being.

He did say his hand was numb a bit.
I like to think Goku never cared about any of his other competitors aside from Vegeta because literally nobody but Vegeta stand a chance in hell at surpassing him.
- TIEN: Goku, I am going to surpass you one day and then we will have our rematch.
- Goku & Vegeta: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
- Vegeta: Yea ok Triclops, go back to babysitting your little bald friend where you belong.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.To be slightly fair to Sasuske, the series has an extreme issue with trying to make almost every antagonist "sympathetic" and makes them Karma Houdinis as a result, so its not an issue exclusive to just Sasuske.
Sasuske just gets the brunt of it because he's the secondary main character and yet we're still supposed to "feel sorry" for him.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.To put it in perspective:
Naruto did the equivalent of having Goku come out and say that Cell was The Coolest Person Ever immediately after Cell ate 600.000 people.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariBe careful. If Cell had decided to stop killing people, I fully believe Goku would have let him go so he could fight him again.
The Obito thing was bullshit, but Dragonball could have easily done something similar.
One Strip! One Strip!I just watched the Other World Tournament arc! It was pretty good, and unlike a lot of filler could've technically happened. Goku vs. Pikkon was great. Interestingly, the arc has evidence of further potential for humans, in the form of Olibu, who gave a good fight to Pikkon, who's stronger than Cell.
I suppose when they are dead, they no longer have the limits they did before.
I still doubt it though, and Toriyama has no interest in doing anything with the humans anymore.
One Strip! One Strip! You have the most basic and fundamental difference right there.
Goku doesn't let them go because he thinks they're the coolest, he lets them go because he wants to fight them again, and even he acknowledges that it's a selfish desire. Hell, even with Freeza it was always Cruel Mercy.
Dragon Ball never tries to pretend Vegeta is a good person.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariLet's be honest here.
If it'd been anyone but Yamcha, we'd just write it off as silly stuff and not care.
It's only because it's him that it's being brought up.
Note that I remembered that scene as well, but chose not to mention it.
One Strip! One Strip!

I sorta like the idea of Dragon Ball happening with Vegeta instead of Goku.
...For the record, in case everyone complains, that comic is meant to be an Imagine Spot on kid!Vegeta's part. So.
I know some of you aren't so great at context.
Swearing.
Real Men continue not to make sandwiches.
Kid Trunks personality type.
Dragon Ball characters redubbing classic movies.
I like how those voice actors have a sense of humor.
I'm imagining Vegeta taking a cooking class.
