He seems like a chill dude all in all.
Yeah, Yenma ain't bad.
Too bad he's irrelevant like so many other characters in DBZ.
One Strip! One Strip!I have a headcanon that he has a strong as he needs to be clause stapled onto his God Job. Like, he can corral Cell if Cell's being unruly, but not Farmer-with-a-shotgun if he isn't.
No. Raditz was just a wispy cloud apparently. That's why Yenma was able to whoop him.
One Strip! One Strip! Also, I don't think Buu would have really caused that much of a change in Yenma's workload; the dude basically deals with the souls of the people who die, throughout the entire universe, the guy is possibly dealing with trillions upon trillions of souls every day.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Does he really deal with death across the universe?
I mean, it makes sense, but I thought he was just in charge of people who died on Earth.
One Strip! One Strip!Resurrection F implied that Earth has its own hell, so I'm presuming Yenma doesn't judge every single dead person in the entire universe.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!
Dabura is from the Demon Realm, not Hell. Those are two completely different places. Also, how does Freeza know that it's Earth's Hell?
The conversations from the previous pages. I miss long periods of conversation due to being in a different timezone and full-time work, but I watch everything.
Unless you mean more specifically, in which case that's exactly what Yusuke does with Raizen. Offers to capture some humans and feed them to him, so that Raizen will survive long enough for Yusuke to beat him.
The English dub tries to salvage this by saying he'll get some really bad humans to use for food but he doesn't discriminate in the original. Not like that would redeem it anyway.
Togashi's stories often suffer when he starts crying about how much misanthropy he has.

The Pope confirmed for Big Brother.
So long as he hates everyone equally, I suppose it's relatively okay.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Of course there's always the chance Yusuke was full of shit which is a trait he carries throughout the entire series. He says a ton of things he doesn't mean because he's a stupid teenager and stupid teenagers say a lot of stupid things. I know I did.
I don't remember the exact scene you're referring to because I don't like Three Kings much and haven't watched it all in about 7 years but it seems highly unlikely the scene is as serious as you are making it out to be. Was this was when Raizen was about to die? I would imagine Yuske was panicking.
Plus, this is ashounen battle manga and the surest way to express your feelings is with violence. Or card games, in Yugioh's case. Yuske saying he wnats to fight Raizen is like I love you, which he clearly did. Raizen is the closest thing to afather he ever had.
He was not panicking. He was angry, because he felt he was being screwed out of a fight, but still calm.
And there's no indication that he was talking shit throughout the whole exchange. He even goes as far as to say he can't see any reason not to eat humans.
And it's simply consistent with his behavior as the series goes on. He does literally become less human, through his atavism. Even at the start of the arc, he doesn't actually have a problem with Hokuten and friends eating humans as long as they're honest about it. It's why Kuroko kicked him out of her house and told him to go to Demon World, because his lack of care about it really scared her.
Also saying Yusuke loved Raizen because he wanted to fight him is completely ridiculous. Did he love Toguro? Sensui? No, he wanted to beat Raizen up for both interfering in his fight with Sensui and for humiliating him when he arrived at Demon World. Yusuke has never shown any more affection for him than any other opponent he had so trying to read subtext is really more just making shit up.

Remind me to never read or watch YuYu Hakusho.
I'd probably like it better when it was called "Dragon Ball Z" anyway.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I will definitely say don't read it. But the (dubbed) anime is a heavily flawed but enjoyable watch.
Also, Yusuke turning into a total jackass isn't necessarily a bad thing. It makes sense in the story, I was just pointing out that the idea of him maturing is pretty flawed because he really doesn't get any better as the series goes. He's at his most moral point in the first story arc.
Also Dragon Ball and Yu Yu Hakusho were published simultaneously for much of YYH's run. So it's not exactly fair to suggest it's just Dragon Ball rehashed, despite some things being extremely similar it's unlikely Yu Yu Hakusho was always ripping off Dragon Ball. For example, Gohan vs Cell and Yusuke vs 100% Toguro have almost the exact same beginning - hero has untapped potential, but won't fight back, villain is disappointed because they want a good fight so they try and draw it out by first torturing the hero and then going after others - but they were published around the same time and authors have to create their chapters ~2 chapters in advance without seeing each others' works so it's unlikely either deliberately took the idea from the other.
Which means some of the striking similarities in other parts could simply be coincidences as well. That, or management pushing a specific agenda on its authors.
The YYH anime is also filler free, but has Adaptation Expansion on the manga events. It's very well paced, even better paced than the manga. The sheer quality of adaptation is almost enough reason to watch it on its own, even if the source material is weak.

I will say, Saiga is being too caustic with it.
While it does have problems, it's still enjoyable enough that it's not wasted time. It's not like you're reading shitty fanfic. Like I do.
