I just want to say I wasn't joking when I said Chi Chi > Videl > Bulma. That's what I honestly think.

Chi Chi most likely is stronger than Bulma and Videl combined, yes.

Surviving sex with Goku and training Goten puts her pretty damn high.

And being stronger than Bulma is actually a feat worth mentioning. Bulma actually consistently showed she was in excellent shape through Dragon Ball, given the kind of shit she did in that series, and she regularly survives sex with Vegeta.

Remember: Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex applies because, unlike Superman, Saiyans can't perfectly control their strength with nearly 100% accuracy.

Goku practices control a lot.

In the Buu arc Goku was able to hit weaker than Krillin.

...Also, maybe Bulma tops?

Funny you should mention Chi-Chi. Here is a reviewer analyzing the character (skip to the 11 minute mark).

[up][up]I really hope we get a few scenes like that one in Super.

Dragonball, for all its filler, had a lot of CMOF's, like Goku and Piccolo driving - there's a reason TFS used it. So far all that's happened in Super is Beerus being a dick, Goku being an irresponsible father letting Goten drive a plow ten times his size, Goten and Trunks faffing about, and the Kaioshin being paranoid.

The only laugh I've gotten so far was Vegeta having to spend the day with his family.

Hey, he's letting Goten off easy. When Goku was 12, he had to plow entire fields with his bare hands.

Well you see, he doesn't want Goten to make the same mistakes he did; so, Goku, good father that he is, is getting an early start on teaching Goten how to drive.

He was also clearly holding back since he and Yamu are strong enough to restrain SSJ 2 Gohan.

Only because Supreme Kai, being a dumbass, was doing all the work with his telekinesis.

Just got back from watching Resurrection 'F' and, while I acknowledge it has some minor flaws, I had a blast. 'F' is one of my new favorite movies ever.

Except I thought it was "phowa"

It's actually "poa da" which apparenlt is translated as "phowa" for whatever reason.

I thought that "phowa" had to do with cult things in Japan.

Like, it's a legitimate spiritual practice and idea, but the concept was used by terrorists and mass suicides, which is why Maximum the Hormone used it in their song about tyranny, oppression and genocide. A song which incidentally examined those topics through the lens of an anime villain who looks like a dildo.

According to my dictionary, "poa" is Aum Shinrikyou (the aforementioned terrorist group) term meaning "death". In this case, "da" likely means "be, is".

I think there was a thing where they mentioned they had to read the song in Japanese phonetics.

So. So that's a thing.

Oh, that explains why I was going "... Are you sure this is in English?" for some parts I could actually understand.

I just saw some clips of Goku VS Freeza from the new movie. It's very well animated but just so slow. Even without what you guys have said, I would be going into this movie with the idea that it wouldn't be nearly as good as Battle of Gods.

I liked it better than Battle Of Gods. But I will admit Goku's fight with Beerus was more satisfying, it at least picked up.

And "It's Phowa!" does make more sense with that insight, though the video comments prove I wasn't the only one who heard "Twat!"

I've seen bits of the Spanish version -_-.

Toriyama is really having fun with it now isn't he, that or he just loves Frieza to death pieces. Either way, the part where the song plays as he gets out of the tank is just fantastic.

Hey, he's letting Goten off easy. When Goku was 12, he had to plow entire fields with his bare hands.

And this raises the question of why Goku isn't doing this manually. He's visibly bored and yet he has more than enough power to do it quickly, by hand. Is this some metaphor for hardwork being hard and how, even a Super Saiyan named after a vegetable, has to commit to the task of tediously planting and growing vegetables?

As pointed out earlier, he's got a great deal of restraint with the punching scene, he's not causing any collateral damage. Hell, maybe use a Kamehameha as a trough and just aim it toward the nearest ocean, like he normally does. That way he gets some training in and makes a profit at it.

Heck, didn't Goku "revive" a bird in one movie with his Super Saiyan energy? Can't he "steal" life energy with the Spirit Bomb? Then isn't it logical to assume he could also give it back? Why not hijack the souls of a 100 alien worlds and use their life energy to grow a fabulous, award-winning garden? If you want to be humanitarian about it, he could just steal the energy from plants/fauna like he did against Vegeta and Frieza, no permission necessary. There's like 3-4 easier solutions to what Goku is putting himself though.

Speaking of Frieza, I can't help but think him vs. Kibito would be an interesting fight. Word of God says base Goku never surpasses 100% Frieza, and Daizenshuu 7 says Kibito is about even with base teen Gohan, so I could see them being similar in power.
