Whis is not a knowing things kind of character, but he is a plot convenience kind of character, and he'd probably be able to 'splain to Beerus what the fusion is so people can be informed.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariI dunno, being able to rewind time comes dangerously close to a Reality Warper.
I wonder if we'll see more of the Galactic Patrol when we get to the Resurrection F arc.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I probably should have asked this earlier but am I the only one who watched Battle Of Gods half expecting Super Saiyan God to end up being a completely new character they'd have to seek out? The only prior knowledge I had watching the movie was that Beerus was stronger than every previous villain in the history of Dragon Ball, he was looking for someone and thought SS3 Goku was too weak to be that person. When Elder Kai powered Gohan also proved too weak (which wasn't too surprising, Beerus needing to be stronger than a Piccolo, Goten, Trunks and Gohan absorbed Super Buu), I came to the conclusion Super Saiyan God was going to be a hardcore individual or that, as Whis suggested, Beerus's dream did not mean what he thought it meant.
Obviously it was the latter but I still find it interesting original Super Saiyan God was a good guy and in fact to come about needs good guys. I'm guessing Super hasn't gone into much depth or foreshadowing over Vegeta "sell my soul for power" is somehow declared "pure of heart"?
Buldogue's lawyerMan, you have to screw up majorly to get @Yuyucow to complain about quality, but this week was pretty bad.
It's not that it has awkward inbetweens, the episode is thoroughly hideous. Bad in motion, bad still, always bad.
Hope people don't blame lack of skill (Tate's one of their best animation directors) or the staff being lazy, this is 100% awful management.
Toei has a labor union so in a way it's ahead of most studios, but if you rush projects this badly both quality and staff struggle A LOT.

Not if you kill it, it's not.
And no, it can't be done. Not even Goku can ignore the laws of the afterlife. Certain individuals connected to the afterlife can grant special dispensations, but that's not the same as flatly ignoring it.
The way the afterlife works is firmly established and it's never been remotely suggested that having a powerful enough body would allow you to bring it with you into the afterlife without permission. Your proposed headcanon requires Goku to assume things that he knows are impossible. It does not work.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.If I had to take a wild guess, I'd say that bodies brought over to Other World need a lot of ki in order to be maintained and something about Other World lets people regain ki a very fast rate. That would explain why Goku turning Super Saiyan 3 drastically shortened his time on Earth (which is also the reason why it shortens the fusion time), why Goku could easily regain his ki as a Super Saiyan 3 in Other World but not when alive, and why dead people who kept their bodies have to remain in Other World or a place like the Planet of the Kais.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!So watched the last episode. Thoughts: no idea where this 'Goku's first defeat' thing comes from; they didn't say it in the translation I watched.
The fight was not that much extended, in the original Battle of Gods it lasted two minutes(a REALLY short fight in Dragon Ball terms) whereas in Dragon Ball Super the fight lasts for eight minutes which, for Dragon Ball fights, is fine. In addition: we already knew that Goku would be using all three forms from the manga so the fight was bound to take longer.
Aside from a couple of Off-Model moments when Goku is uselessly swinging away from a distance the animation wasn't bad, it was a little different sure but it wasn't bad.
Super dissapointed Chanpa and 5% more feminine Whis didn't show up though.

Cherry-picking Off-Model frames of animation can be done in any animated anything that has ever existed. This episode was fine, not exemplary, but fine.
I'll never understand why people take stills for active animation and then start claiming Off-Model.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.If only it looked cool in motion it would be alright. The problem is, it really doesn't.

Whis probably would know though. Because Whis.
