Oh yeah, Bibidi was the dad. I always get it kinda mixed up.
I should just remember that the song goes Bibidi first and then Babidi second.
As for Freeza being da strongest in the universe, I've always wondered about his father. Speculation abounds on King Cold's power level.
Saiga, how strong was Mecha-Freeza? In the anime (dub at least) they say he's stronger thane ver due to cybernetics. But I don't think that was the case.
The modifications did indeed make him stronger. Not much stronger, because he still plans on having his father help him fight Goku, and we don't see him at 100% so he'd look weaker than he was.
And he's also stronger than his father, because his father says that anyone capable of defeating Freeza would then become the strongest in the Universe (previously held by Freeza). The Daizenshuu also say he's inferior to Freeza.
From the way Freiza talks about King Cold on Namek; we would think that he is a least as strong as Freiza, but I don't think Toriyama wanted another fight as long as the last one so he cut short and made King Cold weaker than Freiza.
What? Tien and Launch for the win.

The Reaper Games starts anew.King Cold saying "anyone who could defeat Frieza must be the strongest in the universe" doesn't necessarily mean Frieza is stronger. It could mean that anyone who could outclass Frieza to such a degree like Goku did would most likely be stronger than Cold as well, regardless of whether Frieza or Cold is the stronger one.
I generally assumed Cold was marginally stronger than Frieza, close enough in power that someone who could humiliate Frieza like Goku did could also logically humiliate Cold (And thus be the most powerful).

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!What does Cold actually do anyway? Is he The Man Behind the Man to Frieza? Does he do his own thing somewhere out in the universe? He seemed like kind of a random addition to the series, all things considered.
I think he's sorta The Man Behind the Man, letting Frieza rule as a public figure of sorts while he keeps to the shadows relatively unknown even to his own soldiers.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!@HT
But again, Freeza wasn't at 100%. It was shown that Trunks is weaker than Goku.
@Kiddo
He only mentions that Goku is the only person to dirty him in his final form apart from his parent(s). That definitely doesn't make him as strong as him.
@Anom
But Freeza being the previous strongest in the universe is part of that conversation, which is impossible if Cold is stronger. And that statement doesn't make sense, because he says nothing other than "defeat". If he can defeat Freeza, his statement has no meaning.
Also, note that "King" is not a title, it's part of his name. Freeza is the one in charge.

Freeza's kinda stupid. Goku totally humiliated him on Namek and that was just after getting the SSJ powerup for the first time. Plus I hear 100% Freeza being a sort of challenge for him was mostly in the anime and the fight was shorter in the manga.
So now he plans to take on a much stronger Goku with something less than his 100% full power and his only backup is a guy even weaker than that.

I once read a doujin where Frieza's mother turned out to be West Kaioshin(!?) and she also slept with Goku(?!?!?!???!!?) and gave birth to an abominable Villain Sue son named Xykor(!!???!!!!!!!?????!!?!????!!).

Toyble's Dragon Ball AF, you mean.
I prefer Young Jiji's story, even if the first villain is pretty senseless. He actually brings out volumes pretty quickly, too, unlike Toyble who takes forever.
Here
.
Smartest villain would be Gero, since he's a scientist.

Yeah, that one. I thought it was moderately interesting, but I stopped reading it because it seemed to turn into a neverending parade of Xykor beating the tar out of established characters.
And really, Xykor? Was Rob Liefeld a consultant on this doujin or something?
It does kinda bug me that we don't have an actual name for Freeza's race. There are how many of them now? Freeza, Cooler, Cold, and wasn't there a female in that weird-ass new Bardock movie? I watched the TFS version of it. Does the actual movie make more sense?
Anyway my point is that they're still just "some alien race". They should have a name.

If any more volumes get released, I'll keep reading it just to see what happens. But the pace is unbelievely slow considering that it's only 4 volumes since 2007.
Toriyama has said something in an interview about how they shouldn't be seen as a race, and I have no idea how that's supposed to be taken. For what it's worth, Dragon Ball Heroes calls them "Freeza's Clan". So I guess there just isn't enough of them to be considered a race?
Oh and that's a male in Episode of Bardock, TFS just have him a really high voice.

That part wasn't referring to you, since the movie has been released there was talk of Whis being stronger than Beers.
And since GT has Goku being stronger than Boo in his base form and all sorts of hax, I'm going with GT. BoG has nothing on that.
