Yes, the Gohan one was funny. Because it was ripped off from something else actually funny.
My various fanfics.C'mon, unnoun. Where's the variety? Don't you have anything else other than Stupid Moogles (or whatever the hell the name is; I can never read it).
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! And now that comic has made me really want to see Deadpan Snarker Pan.
God, I love that scene you linked to. I was just watching the Kai version, and it's amazing how much of a troll Goku is. He's been almost as bad as Cell during the pre-Cell Games segment.

The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!Goku never had a problem with how Gohan lived his life, he just wanted to share something he loved to do with his son. It was clear Gohan didn't care for fighting like his Dad does, so Goku was just satisfied that Gohan was happy.
Yes people, Goku does care about his family :V
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. When I said that thing, I never implied anything of what you guys seemed to think I said.
What I said is simple: I'm sure Gohan found a way to 'power down' so that he doesn't have to consciously modulate his power down. And remember; Gohan is like Freeza after his potential got unlocked, he doesn't need to power up anymore because his 'base' became '100%'.
Or, in other words, Potential Unleashed isn't a transformation. It's just Gohan releasing a pseudotransformation that locks away some of his power to make it easier to manage.
At least, that's what I like to go with in my headcanon. Either way, canon doesn't really provide us with an answer.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariVegeta at his whiniest will never not be funny.
I know Bruce Faulkner's music can be Love It or Hate It but the little jingle that played at Goku said he was much stronger added to the Condescension.
I think it's decent, I don't love it or hate it really.
Problem is, Dragon Ball already had a pretty good OST.
Stuff like Hero of Heroes, Hikari no Willpower... And even stuff like Mezase Tenkaichi or Kaze o Kanjite. And that's not even getting into the superb opening and ending songs it had, even the translated versions were awesome.
Really, anime during the nineties had pretty good opening and ending sequences. Maybe I just liked Anime with good music, though.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariI get not liking Bruce Faulconer's work but even ignoring that the original Dragon Ball sound track is pretty boring and mode killing. I'd take the original Kai soundtrack (that turned out to be plagiarized) over either in a heartbeat.
Edit: Watching Kai on Toonami and often the music is really taking me out of it. I also noticed this when watching Broly with the original music. I never realized how boring and uneventful the entire movie was until then.

Hikari no Willpower
. Mezase Tenkaichi
. Piccolo's Final Death
.
Arguably the worst song in the entire franchise
. Let's see it done right
.
Well, I've just been watching Kai with the replacement Kikuchi soundtrack, and that hasn't been the best. I dunno, the placement does seem off somehow. And they repeat tracks way too often. But I dunno if DBZ also has that problem.
Faulconer's music would have been better if it actually decided to shut up for a second, but it works really well in certain moments.
Really, I don't know if there's a perfect soundtrack. They all have their ups and downs.
EDIT: Also, where does Hikari no Willpower come from? I swear, I've never heard it before.

The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby! It's Future Trunks' Theme. I recall hearing it in the anime itself, but I can't remember where exactly. I think it was after he returned to the future, but I'm not sure.
Either way, I'm going to go see if there's a BRS - The Game speedrun, and cry a little because there'll never be an expanded remake of that game.
And yes, that game begs for an expanded remake. There's just so much untapped potential in it.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariI love that Goku didn't even have to do anything to prove it. He literally just said, "Yeah, I'm stronger than you," and Vegeta completely unraveled into a giant emo ball of self-pity.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.The Kai version is even funnier, imo.
Vegeta: "I don't care for the suggestion that you're stronger than me!"
Goku: "Yeah, I wasn't really suggesting."
