They could have excused it very easily in Bulma's case. She changes her hairstyle all the time, so why not her hair dye?

Both Trunks and Bulma have purple hair, yeah. Except for the first chapter where Toriyama gave her green hair, the anime based it off that and so sometimes in the anime it's green and sometimes it's blue.

So her hair can be green, blue, or purple. Does she hate warm colors?

She once tried going blonde, but Vegeta slapped her thinking she had gone Super Saiyan before he could.

Heehee. Even humans went Super Saiyan before Vegeta could, he's such a late bloomer.

See, it's funny because he's a late bloomer, married to Bulma, and father to Trunks and Bra.

Yeah, I realized the word "bloomer" fit since he's married to Bulma.

Vegeta's gotta feel silly being part of a family named after underwear.

She's also had red hair in the manga, though that was because it was a limited colour palette.

His grandfather slowpokes. Dr. Briefs has purple hair and it skipped a generation.

The Battle of Gods full synopsis is up on Kanzenshuu for anyone interesting. Massive spoilers, it details the whole movie.

Yeah, I was wondering what Dr. Brief's haircolor was, figured it could have skipped a generation.

It seems very goofy, but charming.

Nice nod to Vegeta's brother. So that WAS canon after all...

Get over it, Saiga. Please?

There's no point in getting into what is canon and what is not.

Just agree to disagree, already.

No. Why must people always throw that word out there without understanding it?

I wasn't even aware there was a discussion over it.

DB has always been highly spotty with its internal consistency anyway.

Continuity in our series about fighting monkeys from outer space befriending shapeshifting pigs and fighting regenerating giant grasshoppers is serious business, though, rite?

Pretty much the same as Journey To The West, anyhow. Except with aliens.

I do find it a nice touch that Tarble is at least in continuity with Battle of the Gods.

And Battle of the Gods doesn't seem as bad as I thought it would be, though I dislike the concept of a Super Saiyan God transformation, kinda wish we could just see more of SSJ 3 but powered up if need be.

[up][up][up][up] First of all, you're overstating things. I find it annoying because it's come up in both threads now and always has to be mentioned by someone.

And secondly, no, not everyone knows or they wouldn't be confused when they hear the definition of it.

[up][up][up] Continuity isn't the same thing as canon.

Well then, why don't we agree that Tarble does exist.

He's a step up on Dragon Ball GT....which admittedly isn't that hard.

I like Tarble, it's nice to know the Saiyans weren't an entire race of bloodthirsty lunatics.

Yes, but for some reason Bardock time-travels.

I like Episode Bardock(does it make sense that he can become super-saiyan? Probably not even if he survived the destruction of a planet) but seriously? How the back flipping bugger did he do that?
