Big spoilers, Chapter 42 of the manga came out...
Goku and Vegeta try to double-team Jiren with a Gamma Burst Kamehameha combo, but then Vegeta is ringed-out. Goku then struggles to hold back Jiren, but then Frieza appears and charges up a Death Ball. Goku does a Full Nelson on Jiren, but even then he was able to deflect the Death Ball. Suddenly Frieza uses that opportunity to do a surprise tackle, which rings out all 3 of them. Lastly, 17 reveals himself as the final person on the stage, making him the MVP. The events of after that line up with the anime somewhat, with the multiversal revival and whatnot.
The chapter doesn't end there though... The events of Broly are mentioned for a single page, but it then starts off anew. Goku and Vegeta are training, but Bulma interrupts them to inform them that Buu has gotten arrested by the Galactic Patrol. Mr. Satan scolds the patrolmen and then tries to shoot them, but one of them stops the bullet with his blaster. Goku and Vegeta arrive to knock out a couple of them, but the main patrolman shoots them with his blaster which knocks them out. After waking up, Goku and Vegeta find themselves on the ship and meet up with Jaco, the other patrolman from earlier and a guy who looks like Jiya. The talk to them about Buu and the Grand Supreme Kai, but I dunno how to read japanese, so I dunno the actual context.

I mean, I actually liked and loved Beerus being nicer than his reputation, because it emphasized for all that the Kais paid lipservice to the idea of destruction being necessary and not evil, they were also creation-biased judgmental prejudiced dickholes.
That's a dynamic a liked.
Nobody treated Beerus like a GoD at Bulma's birthday, just a person to party with. A friend, even.
And I like that as something Beerus didn't even know he needed.
A look at SDBH World Mission in this month's V-Jump.

Great Saiyaman 3 is definitely a Gavan reference.
FUCK, I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING IN THAT HEROES SCAN...

Also, some Jump Force stuff too.
Piccolo's doing the same pose he did for the Universal Survival promo stuff.
What's really weird is that Naruto still only has 2 reps despite being Jump's cash-cow on comparable levels to DB & One Piece.
DB got 5 reps, OP got 5 reps (still don't care much for Sabo), & Hunter x Hunter even has 4 reps. Hell the defamed Bleach got 3 reps giving them the placement of the 3rd most reps in the game.
Also weird Cell made it in in the first place considering he is the least popular of the Z villains in Japan.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Alright, some transcripts are coming in...
The new arc literally starts right after Goku REDACTED, and Buu wasn't actually arrested. Apparently the Galactic Patrol needs Grand Supreme Kai's help to capture a prisoner who escaped. I guess that's why they got Buu. "Yes, the Great Kaioshin slumbers again inside Majin Buu ..."
I mean sure, they aren't the most powerful people, but I'm pretty sure they have the tech to at least stun powerful enemies. Plus that bowlcut patroller seemed pretty fast, fast enough that Vegeta didn't even notice him speed behind him for a stun. Most info we have on the GP is from the Jaco manga, which took place 40-something years before the current year in DB. Wouldn't surprise me if a few things changed.

Pretty sure yeah.
He's actively maliscious instead of just whimsically chaotic.
