Das quirky.
Dragon Ball Quirky.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.speaking of Beerus dying if the Kais were killed, maybe that was Bibidi's aim all along? Seeing how long it took for Shin to not get any support I assume celestial bureaucracy takes centuries to be replaced.
maybe Buu could even land the Go D job
I really disliked the Super version of their fight. It had some neat details, like Beerus losing his cool going on a rant while overwhelming Goku, but it was just horrendously paced and the fight itself was really uninspiring - the Kamehameha spam was just absurd and made the fight very dull.
Also, the neat moments of characterization inserted into the fight are undermined by the poor portrayal of Beerus that Super had.
I honestly don't know whether I prefer Battle of Gods Beerus or Super Beerus.
Battle of Gods Beerus is a goofball and fun to be around. He's casual and can enjoy himself at a party. That said, I don't know if I fully bought Battle of Gods Beerus as a threat. He seemed almost a little too friendly and amicable right off the bat. He also didn't really demand respect, so while I could feel his age and experience, I didn't get any sense of authority that would be befitting of a god. Battle of Gods Beerus also doesn't really get much characterization during his big fight with Goku.
Super Beerus is more of a stick in the mud, but not completely. He still does partake in some of the party bits, he enjoys takoyaki and he still loves Earth food. I can say that I totally bought Super Beerus as a threat. In Battle of Gods, we were only told that Beerus is an unpredictable and petty god of destruction, but we see that in depth in Super (maybe a little too much of that, but still). Super Beerus also demands respect, literally forcing Vegeta to bow before him just with his aura. His age and experience is still evident, but he also gives off an air of authority that movie Beerus didn't really get until Resurrection 'F'.
Super Beerus also gets more characterization during his fight with Goku, we learn that he still has the mannerisms and playfulness of a cat, we learn that he likes testing his opponents but he also gets frustrated if they don't improve, and we learn that he likes to fight on his own terms, getting angry if unpredictable things happen. We also learn that he can get just as much into a good fight as Goku. The Super version of Battle of Gods also introduces the Hakai technique, which would go on to become one of the more iconic moves to come out of this new resurgence of Dragon Ball, and a very iconic technique for Beerus, in particular.
I think movie Beerus is good for a movie because it makes Beerus' journey to liking Earth into a shorter and more self-contained story, movie Beerus was nicer because his character arc had to be finished by the end of the film. That said, I think Super Beerus is good for a TV show because it sets Beerus' character development back further, which means he has more time to grow and evolve as a character, even past his introductory arc.
Isn't he literally the same but meaner?

I personally like the expanded Goku VS Beerus fight the BOG retelling (only thing is missing is the song "hero")
But that's just me
Wow, another page topper
