I'm 100% with you on that one.

Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...I mean being immortal doesn't prevent you from suffering a fate worse than death. If Vegeta had become immortal, Frieza would still have beat him up, just without the sweet release of death.

Nope. Immortality as presented in both Dead Zone and Super is "you will not only never die, but it's impossible to permanently damage you in any way." Also comes with Feel No Pain, at least in Super's case.
Infinite Zamasu could have easily beaten any other character, the reasoning just depends on the version. In the anime, it's because he's omnipresent and there is literally nothing to actually target, so he'd just wear you down until you ran out of energy and died because you can't do anything to him. In the manga, it's because he just infinitely duplicates clones of himself each of which is as strong as the original (who was a bit stronger than CSSB Goku) with no way to stop him because he has Complete Immortality that only Zeno can overcome. So again, even if you were stronger than him, he'd just keep multiplying until either he can overcome you or you die of exhaustion.

This statement just feels like white noise to me at this point, because I'm fairly certain they say that about everyone nowadays.
Heck, even Broly learning/improving as the fight goes on way done by Hit and Black (and even Jiren got a boost towards the end).
Even if the Freeza thing wasn't true, it came after the other spoilers which are definitely credible.
That doesn't mean they're 100% true, but there is no denying they came from a credible source and it is foolhardy to pretend otherwise.
Not a fan of Freeza's wish, since he can design his own forms and its BS that immortality wouldn't help. It'd make a bit more sense if he somehow determined that Shenron can't actually do immortality
To be fair to Frieza, transforming into a taller state does require weakening himself. That said, that's a very... Commander Red wish. I don't recall Frieza ever being particular self-conscious about his height before, especially considering that his initial appearance in the series involved him moving around in a hoverchair as if he couldn't even fly like his henchmen.
Besides, who's going to make fun of a known sadist with an itchy Death Beam finger?
He could literally just revert back into his 2nd or 3rd form if he wanted to be taller. lmao
Hell, they could pull an asspull and just have him either slap golden on his 2nd/3rd, or create an entirely different form for his next appearance. Why the hell would Frieza ever want to waste a wish like that? He could have his minions design him artificial legs if he's that desperate. And what practical purpose would it even serve him? It's not like it would magically make him stronger. Frieza has been butchered.
I will point out though, that there may be more to this. Assuming all rumors are true, there is still one wish left totally unaccounted for.

Multiversal Zamasu could probably beat Goku by just wearing him down with lasers over time while Goku is unable to hit him. Basically what Vegeta would have done to Frieza if he'd actually managed to become immortal in the Namek saga.
