Googolplex is the one of the largest numbers that has a name IIRC, it's 10 by the power of Googol, which itself is 10 by the power of 100. A larger number would be Googolplexplex/Googolduplex/Googolplexian, which is 10 to the power of Googolplex.
Back to the gods, I'm still surprised how popular Quitela is after 3 days. Good thing, he's my favorite. So many people have good taste.

I do really love Beerus, he's great.
At least, in Battle of Gods the movie.
I'm so mad that Super took out the parts of him having fun at the party and break dancing and being a fun, charismatic guest. Like, yeah, he can be a bastard, but he doesn't start there.
Honestly, does Beerus even break dance in Super at all? Because if not I have to shake my head in disappointment.
...Also, like.
It strikes me with the Minus stuff that. Even if Gine and Bardock were less bastardy and wanted Kakarot to survive. He still hit his head and doesn't remember. Any of it.
Is it me, or is that this weird new layer of tragedy?

Is it me, or is that this weird new layer of tragedy?
It kinda does. Back when we all thoughts Saiyans were just fight loving assholes, there was nothing to regret losing. Now...
Look at it this way, Bardock is still a murdering space pirate & Gine was alright with it she just couldn’t join him due to being a weak king so there was nothing left to lose for him on Planet Vegeta.
Grandpa Gohan was & will be the only good parent who ever gave a damn for Goku in the end.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I do have a feeling this all will change once the Broly movie comes and shows the events of Minus.
I mean the "Saiyans don't give a shit for their family" part.

Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...Grandpa Gohan was & will be the only good parent who ever gave a damn for Goku in the end.
Gine is said by Toriyama
to have been unsuited as a warrior for her "Gentle Personality" not her power level, and according to this interview about "upper-level" warriors
if her power level was too low she would never have been on a purging squad to be saved in the first place.
She'd have been an engineer or died as an infiltrator baby. Because nearly all infiltrator babies died.
And, Gine says it's unlike Bardock to care about his kids, when he asks where Raditz is she knows, and his response to how out of character caring about Kakarot is for him is that she rubbed off on him.
Like. "Weakling" as a descriptor of her personality might be true, under Saiyan values, and she's "alright with it" in the sense that she doesn't make waves or try to change anything and just lives her life, but like.
I mean the "Saiyans don't give a shit for their family" part.
I mean, that's still weird when apparently Bardock doesn't know or care whether he has siblings, but the first time we meet Raditz he brings up his and Goku's familial relationship.
Edited by unnoun on Nov 9th 2018 at 12:03:45 PM
Right, but he still had lines like:
RADITZ: "Seriously, though, how do you expect me to do that...
RADITZ: "Our entire race was reduced to space dust...even our parents. Your parents, kakarot."
In hindsight, in light of the Bardock Father of Goku special, it's weird and funny how sentimental and loyal to Bardock that line is from Raditz, the fact that he thinks it would work as an appeal to Goku, when in the special Bardock doesnt care about his son until he dies, and even then only ever mentions Kakarot the entire film.
It's so funny.
Back in the old days the canon was that only four Saiyans (Goku, Raditz, Vegeta, Nappa) survived.
Then Toriyama returned to Dragon Ball and Vegeta suddenly had a Long-Lost Relative which got utterly forgotten in Super.
And now Broly and his father are canon, meaning there are seven confirmed pureblood surviving Saiyans, of which two are already dead.
This is not even mentioning the U6 Saiyans, which are a thriving species, and the fact that there may be more Saiyans scattered around U7 that we don't know about. A little bit more effort and Turles becomes canon.

Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...I mean, when the Saiyans are raiding space bandit pirates it doesn't entirely make sense for the destruction of their planet to wipe them out to begin with, because how many of them would even actually be there?
Also, like. You need about 2000 individuals (some of which can be related to each other, as long as you avoid too much incest in the first generation and plan your gene pairings out a little) for a viable sustainable population.
7 is still not. Great.
And the Universe 6 Saiyans evolved to lose their tails, so they could technically be considered a different species. Or at least subspecies.
And for me, the funniest thing to me is that Raditz has the line:
Its hilarious on so many levels, because both the Bardock special and the pages of Dragon Ball Minus seem to indicate Raditz and Kakarot never met, and because the series has basically forgotten Raditz and retconned nearly every other word he said.
Pride of the Saiyan race & all that.
Saiyans having guilt seems more absurdly out of character than literally every word I've said thus far, congrats.
Why do Saiyans have pride in their parents if they don't have much concept of family.

I was reading the Broly movie page on TV Tropes and noticed that Toriyama intended the movie to make so that Super Saiyan Blue is the max level Goku and Vegeta can attain at the moment. Aside from Goku having Ultra Instinct, how the fuck does he intend to explain Jiren's defeat in the manga? Also, did Vegeta go Beyond Blue in the manga??
Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...At the end of the TOP (in the anime, at least dunno if the manga got there,) Goku says Mastered Ultra Instinct fucked him up really bad and he doesn't know if he can do it again. So that's consistent with that.
...Still dunno about Vegeta Bluer though.
Anyway, in the Super Broly trailer 2 Freeza's accomplice witness lackies seem to be the blue skinned chick with pink hair and an Edna Mode bowl cut, and a little dude with a head shaped like a sideways football and little antennas on the top.
He was in Dragon Ball Minus, the sideways football head guy. Reported that the Saiyans would be back in a month, so Freeza says he'll wait a month to destroy the planet.

I'm asking because Toriyama in the movie is deliberately ignoring every upgrade the Super Saiyan Blue transformation got, in both anime and manga.
That girl in the third trailer is interesting... She seems to care about Broly a lot.

Now that I checked up, Vegeta indeed went Beyond Blue in the manga as well... As well as Goku used the Super Saiyan Blue + Kaioken for the first time in the TOP. Now this one was a surprise.
It's not kaioken, it was similar in principle but it was not kaioken, they made that clear
Also about blue being max level, well I would prefer if that was the case but it's not, I guess he's gonna retcon the higher levels of blue, who knows
Also can I say that I love how blue looks in this film? Like when blue is done well, it looks really fucking good (the blue flame motif helps it a lot)

¡PONLE QUE DIGA!:"¡HUMONGOSAURIO HASTA LA MUERTE!"True that. That aura is beautiful to watch every time they use the pure transformation. Super Saiyan Beyond Blue made it even better.
I still think they're not gonna retcon it should Dragon Ball Super resume and adapt the Broly movie.

Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...I liked the way Blue Kaioken mixed the auras. The blue and red weirdly worked for me aesthetically.
My favorite thing about Blue Evolved was how fucking Moe it made Vegeta look. With the pupils and the bigger anime eyes and the sparkles.
He looks like a magical girl or a fucking body pillow. With glitter. It's so good, and so ridiculous and so bad, and honestly what he deserves.
...I like Super Saiyan God a lot better than Blue.
