Listen. When you got a guy as useful as Ginyu, you gotta tank a few Joy Dances.
You gotta.
It's clear that Ginyu's success rate outweighed his eccentricity in Freeza's mind.
One Strip! One Strip! Here's what I read about the script

I think the reason why King Cold has never had a form introduced in any other media isn't because that horned form really is his true form, but because they simply don't feel bothered to do. After all, Frieza never got a fifth form in any video game or other media as far as I know until Golden Frieza despite Cooler having a fifth form they could copy. Or because it was too iconic, like how in filler Hell Frieza is wholly organic despite dying as a cyborg, yet Dr Gero is still a cyborg because they're the most familiar forms
Honestly I don't mind it because King Cold looks distinct and cool(even if he's mostly a Pallette Swap of 2nd form Frieza) from his son as it is. If I were to headcanon it, maybe it's like how King Piccolo could make his sons look different from him(Piccolo is a direct reincarnation as well as son) where his weird biology lets him asexually reproduce different-looking offspring.
Actually, is there cases where organism can asexually reproduce different-looking offspring?
So Broly is pretty much the final source of inspiration to catalyze all this Saiyan history stuff he’s been thinking of recently.
Hopefully it’s good, he has exerted more of an effort than I expected him to usually do.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Really Frieza’s Race is more arrogant because it basically states Frieza has ownership over his race.
If his species is called Frieza then everyone would be a Frieza & that doesn’t work because there can only be one Frieza.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."That reminds me of a fun fact. As we know, Vegeta is named after his dad, who named planet Vegeta in his own honor after conquering it. But that wasn't the case in the Saiyan arc, when Vegeta wasn't even the Saiyan prince. Instead, the planet was just called "Vegeta" the whole time, and he was named after the planet. Because he was so powerful and so representative of a pure Saiyan that he was essentially chosen as the Anthropomorphic Personification of their world.
I honestly like that a lot better.

If Ginyu's purple body actually is his real body(it's never made clear) does that mean he's just awful at finding a stronger, better body and always has to go back to his old one? Apparently he at least changed once before to a rich kid when he was at school, but learned it didn't give him much. The Broly trailer shows that he and pretty much every important Frieza henchmen hasn't aged a day in 30 years and Ginyu has at least had the purple body that long, because they were too lazy to make younger models you usually get life-extending medicine before discovering interstellar travel

Frieza's expressions around the Ginyu Force though.
Like.
Whenever Ginyu shows up, Frieza always has the face of a man with infinite patience.
