Understanding cooked rice it important.
After all, Goku loves food more than anything else.
One Strip! One Strip! The problem was *always* that he was a child. An innocent doesn't-like-fighting child, and both of his father figures forced him (for a greater good that was still monumentally unfair for him to step up to face) into fighting and trying to unlock his power.
He's not a coward because he tries to fight even though he's afraid. This is practically objective. But because of his inexperience (and again, he's a child) he falters— chokes a couple times during the Saiyan Arc, tries to do all he can during the Freeza saga, and at the end of the Cell Saga his father stops fighting the genocidal killer bio borg and shoves him into it's path telling Gohan all the while he's got this.
It hurt him almost as much as Cell working him over, and it takes everyone he knows having the shit beaten out of them and a kindly robot giving him a man-to-man talk before he finally just lost it.
Goku had ALOT more time and conditions to ease into his adventurous fight-everybody lifestyle and frankly he enjoyed it. Most of his kill count (assuming he didn't just pummel someone into unconsciousness) were against dudes/monsters who were going to kill/eat him or his friends, it was all self defense. The dinosaur that almost ate Bulma, the Bear guy, a whole bunch of Red Ribbon murderers—he didn't even really kill Tao Pie Pie and he never went in for lethal tactics against Pilaf no matter how many times the guy showed up. Krillin's death is the only time he went out for revenge during DB.
Gohan on the other hand got his start after his dad gets murdered, his *other* dad leaves him to survive alone in Dinosaur land and then punches him for 6 months and on and on and on...
I kind of wonder where the whole thing about Gohan being a coward and a brat came from? Gohan is actually a lot braver than most people give him credit for and if Dragon ball wasn't the kind of series that was (as in grimdark), Gohan would have PTSD from the amount stuff he had experienced.

"Mai waifu."But in actual seriousness, I wasn't questioning the idea of actually doing it.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. The SDBH website updated with a bunch of stuff, so I grabbed all the important stuff together in an album.
- Looks like SS3 Cumber and SS4 Xeno Vegetto is gonna be the main fight here
- There seems to be different story paths for Xeno Goku and Ozotto
- The DBS Broly missions seem to be separated by planets (Planet Vegeta, Earth, etc...)
- Scouter cards don't seem that different from other cards, but they do look cool
- Saiyan Blood cards give certain characters a Street Fighter IV-like appearance
- They also make the characters 1.1x stronger at the start of the match
- Movie cards are based off all 20 DB movies from Blood Rubies to DBS Broly
- This is the first time King Gurumes, Lucifer and Eighter have been added to Heroes
- A ton of characters popped up that not even V-Jump revealed
- BR Kid Goku
- BR Bulma
- BR Gine
- BR King Vegeta
- BR King Cold
- BR Frieza
- BR Nappa
- BR Young Paragus
Also, the Heroes youtube channel updated with a gameplay match of some of the new characters:
But seriously though, am I the only one hoping Grandpa Gohan is in the movie?
And am I the only one hoping there's a fight scene between him and Kakarot fresh from the pod? In Jaco he mentions Kakarot making a "ruckus" so.
...Incidentally, did Gohan Sr. ever get stronger than Roshi?
I'm pretty sure Tao was stronger than Roshi was at the tournament, and then when Baba brought Gohan he and Goku fought pretty evenly after Goku kicked Tao's ass.
The idea that Kakarot's parents sent him to a backwater of weaklings to be safe and he landed on the doorstep of literally the strongest person there (I mean, aside from King Piccolo, Kami and Popo, and maybe or maybe not Korin) is kinda funny.
I know Gohan was killed by Oozaru Goku, and Oozaru only multilplies power level by 10, and Goku's power at the start was 10, making Oozaru 100, but. Oozaru is also big and heavy, and I think Goku points out that while Giant Namekian doesnt strictly increase power level, and is slower, it does hit harder because mass.
Also, Goku says he saw the moon when he got up at night to take a piss so maybe Gohan was sleeping.
Gohan saying not to look at the moon means he saw the Oozaru once and survived it, so.

Considering the screenshot Heroes uses for the Kid Goku fight takes place on Earth, I'm sure that means there should be at least a scene where he meets Grandpa Gohan. Also, since the new Gine card has her actually being a fighter, I wonder if this means she'll fight along side Bardock in the movie...

I mean.
Like, its weird, because Dragon Ball Minus is originally part of Jaco the Galactic Patrolman as a Bonus chapter. Sorta like Trunks returning to his timeline in the Cell Saga.
Gohan's appearance is more in the Jaco side. And not the 16 page mini special titled "Dragon Ball Minus: The Departure of the Fated Child".
We cut from Jaco, declaring that the deadly alien hes there to stop is a Saiyan, to Gohan feeding Kakarot and saying he caused a ruckus and has no manners and is strong enough to be dangerous if Gohan wasn't a martial artist, then we cut back to Bulma and Dr. Brief and Panchy showing up to fix Jaco's shit.
Originally, I would say that Minus and Jaco can't or shouldn't be taken separately from each other, but the Broly movie seems to be doing that, unless it's actually secretly a Jaco OVA and Broly is only actually in it for five minutes.
...Seriously, "And Watch out for the Galactic Patrol" is the funniest fucking thing after 240+ pages of Jaco.
Is there anything to indicate Jaco himself or Young Tights are in the movie?
...Is it wrong that I want a Xenoverse like game to do a What If? about Jaco successfully finding Kakarot?
And then we beat the shit out of Jaco.
...Alternatively, since Jaco is only allowed to take on child Saiyans.
I dunno, do you guys think Gohan could take Jaco?
...What if Kakarot gets Supervillain Mode and tries to kill Gohan and Jaco after they beat each other up and our PC has to give him his head injury.
I think I just came up with the best mission.
Fighting alongside Gohan Sr. to protect Kakarot from Jaco.
Fighting Kakarot powered up by Towa or Fu or whatever to protect Gohan and Jaco. Deliberately trying to give Goku his brain damage.

You know over the years Toriyama has expanded upon more of the DBZ universe, than he did when he first created it. It makes me think that at the time he was more concerned with writing from the seat of his pants rather than looking deeply into the background of the setting. Now that he is long done, he can now think about it more.
I mean. Id say his computer, but Trunks and Krillin destroyed that.
Fighter Z has him have multiple bases and all over the world, which I honestly can believe considering how globe-spanning the Red Ribbon Army was at first, and he somehow pulled out alright the first time apparently.
Gero kinda makes no sense in general though.
He assumes Goku wouldnt grow on Namek because of how old he was, even though 27 really isnt that old even for humans.
He thinks absorbing Piccolo's energy would leave Piccolo weaker, but Piccolo says that since they can suppress energy it wasnt much, which he should know.
He thinks covering Piccolo's mouth should leave him unable to shout for help even though Daimao, his kids and Majunior use telepathy multiple times.
Vegeta figures out the power suppression thing just listening to Raditz fighting Goku and Piccolo, and Ginyu and even fucking Freeza figure it out. And Freeza sucks at actual Martial Arts.
Granted, these are all mistakes that happen in chapters after his introduction, at which point it might have been decided he wasnt the main villain.
...Of course, given he didn't even know Freeza existed, it raises the question of how the fuck he made 16, 17 and 18 so fucking strong. And then decided to keep dialing that strength back.
...Honestly, I can actually see where the editor was coming from with #19, but Gero/#20 looks fantastic, and honestly fuck anyone that says otherwise. His dress sense could use some work, but I think old men make perfectly fine villains. And as old men go, he looks perfectly threatening. Facially.
I think Toriyama's editor was just a bad editor.
Part of me thinks Gero could have worked sorta like Freeza. A final boss introduced at the beginning of the arc that everyone has to build themselves up to.
