I would LOVE to watch a Dragon Ball fight in real time.

She didn't...
And she did not...
She doesn't even get the service.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Yeah, I dig Cooler. His final form is absolutely boss, and he's actually willing to get his hands dirty before his mooks all die. I respect that. Frieza could've wrapped everything up on Namek in seconds when he landed, but instead was just... "eh. Let the incompetent minions do it."
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. There's nothing wrong with how Freezerator handled Namek, since he was actually there with his minions.

If you seen the Foe Yay page for Dragonball Xenoverse, the things he says toward the player sounds like he's trying to woo you instead of just persuade you to work for him. I think this is a case of Relationship Writing Fumble.
I also found out that Chris Ayeres' brother, Greg Ayeres, voices Cooler. Man, is that funny or what.

I mean, he sat on his ass and delegated literally everything. Vegeta managing to steal the Dragon Balls from under Frieza's nose was particularly bad.
Him choosing to sit on his butt in that instance would've been the correct thing to do then.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. The question was raised on Tumblr (as is the place to raise such questions): is Goku aromantic? Toriyama has said that Goku loves his wife in the same kind of way he loves his friends, and I believe that. That said, Goku has also said that he likes it when Chi-Chi is tough and bossy, which is apparently a natural Saiyan trait, but if I had to guess, I'd say that's more linked to sexuality, not romantic feelings. Super implied that at least some of Chi-Chi's bitchiness is an act to rustle her husband's jimmies. There are aromantic people who are sexual and married with children.

Adult Goku is a Moral Sociopath incapable of truly loving anyone. Chi Chi is no exception. He wasn't even present for his son's birth.

The Super manga confirms he wasn't present for Gohan's birth and scoffs at the very idea that he should have been. He essentially calls Vegeta a dweeb for wanting to be present for Bra's instead of training more.
And he was only dead because he wanted to be dead (he said himself he wanted to find fighters in the Afterlife), there was literally nothing stopping him from coming back or checking telepathically.
"But he wanted to stay dead to prevent villains from attacking Earth!"
That was just an excuse; none of the villains who attacked Earth would have held back on doing so if they arrived and found Goku dead. Goku knows this. He's just trying to spin a half-believable lie so no one will hassle him.

I dunno. Reviewing it, while Super (both versions) treat Goku's character terribly, (mainly by making him much stupider than he ever was), his Jerkass characterization doesn't strictly-speaking contradict the manga. It just casts a lot of his actions there in a different light. A lot of peoples' opinions of Goku, whether they realize it or not (I didn't), are subtly informed by the anime, which Toriyama himself
expressed annoyance at for making Goku look like a "righteous hero", when really "he doesn’t fight for the sake of others, but because he wants to fight against strong guys" and "he wants nothing other than to get stronger, and it feels like he doesn’t have any other instincts."

See, like this. Goku not giving a fuck about his family obligations is right there in the manga. However, the breakneck pace of the story caused many to just buy his excuse about wanting to stay dead to protect Earth (when really that makes no sense) and maybe mentally dismiss the possibility that he could have come back on Goten's birth by acting he just didn't know (even though he seems on top of things the moment a fighting tournament is mentioned and can demonstrably listen in when he wants). Super (and Toriyama's interviews) doesn't allow for those outs.

Was it really the anime that did that?
Toriyama had Goku doing heroic things, even if the reasons weren't for the sake of everyone or anything.
Hell, Goku saved the world a few times, and it wasn't just because he wanted a good fight. That was there, but it was also because the villain tried to hurt a lot of people he liked.
One Strip! One Strip!Well, that's what I mean. It's a matter of Alternate Character Interpretation. He's framed as a hero and can easily be thought of as one, especially with his Saiyan arc characterization, but strictly speaking he doesn't ever do anything particularly selfless after becoming an adult (outside of the Buu arc, odd considering that's usually considered the height of his Jerkass spree) nor was there ever explicit proof that he'd forsake his selfish desires for the sake of others. The best thing you can say about him, and this seems to stay consistent, is that he respects life and doesn't like unnecessary suffering or death. But he'll put his desires even above that.

I need to go play him in Fighter Z now, shit's baller as fuck
Well, you all know my thoughts on Return of Cooler. That will never change. I do agree that he's pretty coo....NICE.
His fourth form has a brutality that sets him apart from his brother. He don't care about being classy. He just wants to get shit done.
The way he utterly beats down Goku until Super Saiyan enters the scene is different from his brother. Goku would not have been able to stall that fight out.
