I think it depends on how seriously they portray Cell. For example, in the hero and villain plots of FighterZ's story mode, he doesn't really give a shit about them and he's one of the funniest characters in the game. Meanwhile, in the Android plot, he's in the mood to eat the Androids and he's portrayed as seriously as Imperfect Cell in the show.
The legend has returned.Cell temporarily powered up by absorbing Goku in GT
, so the IP holders seem to think he can.

It's a Dragon Ball movie...
So am indifferent...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Best case scenario: It's a legitimately great movie.
Worst case scenario: It can't be any worse than Evolution.
Either way, it will probably have Gogeta so I'm in.
This song needs more love.Well this is another one being handled directly by Toriyama right?
He's 1 for 1 on that front, so we'll see how he handles things. This is also the second time he's handled a character he never created as well.
My only issue with his version of Broly is the decision to default to Saiyan armour (and to be honest, I'm surprised Broly still even has a tail, considering the anti tail rampage he went on), as I liked Broly's most out there look compared to Goku and Vegeta, but we'll see how things go.
One Strip! One Strip!Wasn't Resurrection F pretty directly Toriyama?
I'd call that 1 for 2.
...Or, to be fair, 2 for 2 depending on what curve you're grading on.
Resurrection F was still better than any of Broly's other movies.
If Resurrection F is as bad as it can get, I'd still call it a win.

I liked Broly's first movie, but I can't just second coming or Bio-Broly (well, I can't judge Second Coming, as Bio-Broly is apparently so bad there's no need to see it).
One Strip! One Strip!I'm pretty sure that Toriyama wrote the "power level of 1.3 million" in Resurrection F, because he forgot any of the power levels he wrote at the time, and the inspiration for the movie was apparently Maximum the Hormone's 'F' he probably mostly remembered the "and he has a power level of 530,000" line in the song.
Well you know those two Frieza underlings that the movies announced?
From the info released they are apparently to have some kind of interaction with Broly.
So I'm assuming there purpose is to possibly humanize him by giving him relationships beyond wanting to kill people.

Da hell yuu talkin' 'bout?
I admit, the latest trailer got me a bit intrigued. I want to actually know where this goes now. Hopefully we get more than just a popcorn flick of fancy fight scenes and get an honest to god good plot to go along with it.
Like, there's so much to speculate now. I really hope the movie doesn't collapse on itself trying to fit all of this stuff in.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.

IIRC the cyborgs were needed by Cell to hasten his metamorphosis; truth to be told the whole puking 18 and reverting only made sense as a way of getting her to the lookout and get on with Krillin.
