I read it, liked it, but I forgot the forest fire. Personally, I'd have incapacitated Piccolo with a whistle.
I also once read a fic where Pilaf beat Vegeta with some sorta super pepper spray aerosol to inflame his Saiyan sense of smell.
Get some sleep.

And now Nappa joins in the super crown craze
¡PONLE QUE DIGA!:"¡HUMONGOSAURIO HASTA LA MUERTE!"That is....
Terrible. Absolutely terrible. There is no amount of nerfing that would explain why Post-Kamiccolo Piccolo could be injured by Earthly fire. No. Bad. All bad.
My various fanfics. The fact that Solar Flare keeps fucking working makes me think suped up flashbangs might do the job. At least for a moment.
Some sleeping gases might work. Some gases are toxic. Fuckers need to breathe.
...Except Freeza and Buu.
Saiyan stomachs being what they are I'm not sure what ingested poisons would work. Or in what dosage.
But the lungs are basically just gasbags that go almost straight to the bloodstream.

I mean, there's also the Supreme Kai of Time's cooking in Xenoverse.
Anyway, even if Beerus won't die from it, shitting Himself for a few hours is probably unpleasant and might keep Him away from you for those few hours.
If He knows you're the one responsible for poisoning Him, He'll destroy you afterwards, but some people might be okay with that if they accomplish some other objective.

Yeah. The burns wouldn't necessarily be the problem.
Smoke could be.
EDIT: Also, as of Battle of Gods none of the Saiyans had power levels in their base forms that approached Frieza at 100% on Namek.
So really, the Androids could have just killed them in their sleep.

Haven't read the story, but if there's one thing that's been beaten into my skull by DB, it's that...you can't just use strategy.
If you don't have the same level of ki, you're not even a player. You can't use clever tricks or well place tech to beat these guys. You can't.
This is why I don't read many DB fics: there's not much room for interpretation of battle powers. Only Ki matters. Only how much you have matters.
Well ok, technically, if you are close enough to the other guy, tricks and strategy might mean something. Vegeta was beaten through ganging up on him and wearing him down, and weaker fighters attacking vulnerable points.
That's very rare though, and it took a ridiculous amount of luck for all that to work, and many things still went wrong (Vegeta going Oozaru; knocking away the spirit bomb; jumping Krillin's kienzan, surviving the Spirit Bomb, etc).
But you can't have normal humans beat the Z Warriors with fancy trick sand shit. It won't work, and any story that claims otherwise doesn't understand how things in this series work.
This is why it's better to do more quiet moments in DB. There's lot of room for interpretation there.
One Strip! One Strip!Solar Flare and Kienzan has been historically referred as a Combo that only insane regeneration counters. A huge part of the cast would die to it. Krillin is secretly broken, that's why Toriyama made him human.
I think there is some room to strategy but it's reaaaaaaaally small. At best you can be smart and use your wits to convince a dangerous foe to do something else or even slow them down, but once that fails it's all gone to shit.
The last points are basically Super Buu in a nutshell.
Uni catWell, we all seemed to agree that since Super Saiyan Blue piercing laser is dumb, that it doesn't count.
But I'm not getting into this. I've gone back on forth on Rule of Cool vs consistency too often myself.
This wouldn't be a problem if the rules were so constricting, but there you go.
One Strip! One Strip! It seems Gods if Destruction can let themselves go or be affected by things that cause poor health, but not in a way that seriously impedes them.
Like how Champa is explicilty out of shape, but it’s only a thing when it’s funny. In serious situations, he’s still exactly as strong and capable as Beerus.
You know, in a world where half-saiyans are a thing, i'm a lot more intrigued about Marron.
Supposedly 18 is altered in a genetically level, that's why she is so strong and her mechanical enhancements aren't as prevalent so it makes me wonder if that somehow affected Marron in some way. I would factor Krillin, but his powers don't come from genes like saiyans do.
I wouldn't ask this question if it weren't for that one comment 18 made when she left Marron with Goten and Trunks and stated that she was tougher than she looked.

@unnoun Two pages ago, you mentioned bacteria having ki. That reminds me of a great fanfiction I read, more specifically, a single scene. This is the fanfiction in question, if you want to read it before I summarize the story. I recommend it, it's good.
The fanfiction stars Chi-Chi, and it's set between the Cell and Buu arcs. Basically, the government has been using miniature surveillance drones to spy on the Z Warriors, and Taopaipai has convinced them that they are a threat to Earth. They capture Chi-Chi and reveal to her that her child is an alien, which of course she already knows.
The plot is basically special forces vs Z Warriors, and obviously the story has to nerf how powerful these characters are in order for it not to be a complete curbstomp, but the writing is so good that it's easy to look past it. They REALLY nerf them, though, Yamcha is nearly beaten by a tranquilizer and a team of trained soldiers with tasers, and Piccolo is critically injured by a forest fire.
The climax of the story involves Chi-Chi escaping from confinement and engaging Taopaipai in combat. They're about even in terms of skill, but Taopaipai has robot durability, strength, and stamina. All seems almost hopeless until Chi-Chi taps into a well of power she never knew she had and overwhelms Tao, and they later explain that power-up was Chi-Chi draining the ki out of the microorganisms living inside her body.
Sorry if that was rambly and all over the place, but I love this fanfiction and I also haven't slept in 29 hours.
