So I've been thinking about it and I'd like to ask: Who's your favorite antagonist for each of these?
Dragon Ball: Pilaf to Ma Junior
Dragon Ball Z: Raditz to Kid Buu
Dragon Ball GT: Baby to Omega Shenron
Dragon Ball Super (Minus the retellings of the Beerus and Freeza movies): Champa to Jiren
Dragon Ball Z Movies: Garlic Jr. to Beerus
Nice catch.

This song needs more love.Honestly, I don't have a specific villain from each arc really. There are things I like about most of them, even if there's more I dislike in some cases.
Or maybe my brain just isn't on the right wavelength for choosing or something.
One Strip! One Strip!Well, might as well read it, see if the manga gets any better or if it continues its downward spiral.
Vegeta goes Super Saiyan Blue Evolution by throwing a hissy fit in response to Goku getting Ultra Instinct "Omen" for all of the 4 seconds he had it. Vegeta's transformation blows away Toppo, who lands on a floating rock. He tells Jiren that he doesn't care about Ultra Instinct, and he got to where he is all on his own, with no-one teaching him (which makes Whis go "..."). Vegeta says that he's a prodigy who got to where he is just with solo training. Man, Vegeta is going full "I fought countless battles across the galaxy and I know better than anyone what it's like to put my life on the line". People complained that Evolution in the anime regressed Vegeta in character development, but it didn't regress him back to the Saiyan Saga!
Jiren acknowledges that SSBE Vegeta is stronger than SSB KK Goku, but then he just starts kicking his ass anyway. Jiren says "I put my life on the line in every battle I fight, so not even one percent of my actions are wasted. No matter how weak my opponent may be." I have no fucking clue what that means. It feels like it's supposed to be a big statement about who Jiren is, but it's so goddamn vague that I can't parse any real information out of it.
Freeza goes after Toppo, and starts kicking him around in his 4th form. Dyspo abandons his battle with 17 to help Toppo, which leads to Freeza cutting off their escape routes by blowing up the rocks near them. Apparently Toppo and Dyspo are so tired from their respective fights that they can't even jump back to the arena, which is only like 200 feet away, and they ask Jiren for help to save them. Goku teleports in to save Vegeta and Jiren appears between Freeza and 17, punching them both. Jiren refuses to save Toppo and Dyspo and lets them fall. They appear on the sidelines and say that from Jiren's perspective, they were only in his way.
Freeza goes Golden and Jiren starts kicking his ass. Freeza's trying to buy time, and Jiren recognizes that and tries to eliminate him. 17 saves Freeza, but they're both launched to a distant rock. 17 tries fighting Jiren, but it's no use. He tells Krillin and 18 to watch over his kids, and he self-destructs, trying to take out Jiren. His explosion levels half the arena and does no damage whatsoever to Jiren. Goku goes UIO again to fight Jiren.
Not as bad as last weeks or the week before, but not good either. Blue Evolution is so much worse here, Vegeta doesn't even have a good motivation here to justify it. Toppo and Dyspo do nothing, and Dyspo was completely wasted throughout this whole tournament. This chapter was just so, so boring. I feel utterly underwhelmed.

Since DB stuff is in it, here's some Jump Force news!
