"He's eleven!" "I'm six!!!" DBZA, I wish you had written the real show.
Watching the Gohan vs Cell fight way back when, I simply found it refreshing that someone other than Goku was the hero of the story. Watching it as an adult and understanding how Gohan and the others were feeling, I can finally understand what a moving story it was. I should have watched this as an adult a long time ago.
What's weird about people saying Gohan is 11 is that one of those people is Jimmy Firecracker who has absolutely no knowledge of the HTC and thus should think that Gohan is 10.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I really didn't like the "Perfect Cell is a pervert" thing. At least when he started directing it at Gohan. It just felt super creepy, like when Dende started perving on Gohan. Like, Dende's dialog didn't feel like a boy trying to flirt with a boy his age. It was a tiny grown man perving on a child. It was gross.
My various fanfics.Yeah, but, again, it's different and not funny anymore and creepy when Gohan is a child.
My various fanfics.It's not different.
It's just as creepy as before...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. There was an episode running gag out of people telling Cell to "stop it" because the creeping was creeping them out.
I mean, Cell is creepy. And DBZA is a humor thing so its going to play that for humor by playing that up and having people react to it. And the original material's hands aren't exactly clean in the regard of Cell's absorption of 18.
But when the punchline is 'boy this sure is uncomfortable' you're not wrong to be uncomfortable with it.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersThey were saying it last year, yeah. Recently, however (just over a month ago), Kaiser Neko has come out and clarified the state of the project
, paraphrased essentially as “the hiatus, while awful, allowed us to reapproach our resolve and vision to the project, and we now intend to finish the entire series, however long that it takes to do so.”

Well, the Saiyan Saga was 10 episodes, the Freeza Saga was 20 episodes, and the Cell Saga has been 30 episodes. If this pattern continues, the Buu Saga will clock in at 40 episodes. To compare, here's the number of episodes in Abridged vs Kai (note that the finales are all a single "episode" broken up into three parts, so add two onto the end of the Abridged counts for the actual total):
Saiyan Saga: 16 in Kai, 10 in DBZA
Freeza Saga: 38 in Kai, 20 in DBZA
Cell Saga: 44 in Kai, 30 in DBZA
Buu Saga: 61 in Kai, presumably 40 in DBZA
They do have a clear pattern of about 1 DBZA episode for every 1 and a half Kai episodes.
Gonna repost this to the DBZA thread since it's much more appropriate for there.
A'ight, apparently the beginning and chorus of Day of Fate isn't gibberish. The first bit is Latin (Venit ævus ille. O Messiah, O Messiah!) and the chorus is Hebrew (Yuduliya-Vele. Yuduliya Iyaliya.) The Latin part roughly translates to "The time has come. Oh Savior, Oh Savior." and the Hebrew part translates to "They will confess God is with me - or else. Like an eagle I soar with God".
Pretty much sorta relates to how Gohan is feeling at that moment.

Let's talk about underrated fights. Fights in the series that were really good but people don't really talk about much. I'd like to mention Super Saiyan 3 Goku vs Fat Buu. People love the Super Saiyan 3 transformation sequence, but they don't really talk about the actual fight that followed it all that much, especially compared to Majin Vegeta vs Fat Buu and Goku vs Kid Buu, both of which I actually like less in terms of fight choreography.
I admit, I don't have much to say about that fight.
It is just a time waster in universe. The only stakes are buying Trunks the time to get the Dragon-Radar.
...come to think of it, why didn't they just have Goku Instant Transmission there again? That would have been much faster. Or was it just that he decided to fight Buu before anyone could think of that.
One Strip! One Strip!Boo was literally right over West City by the time Goku IT'd to him. He wouldn't have had time to IT to one of Bulma's parents (especially since it takes Goku a hot second to lock on to people with low ki), locate the Dragon Radar, and then IT away.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! And also because Goku wanted to do that thing he do where he insisted that he could totally beat Buu but tells Buu that his real fight will be him sending his son to fight and die for him again.
Its a proven tactic.
