Cell just seems to be from the future because it'd make little sense for him to be from the present, and because it's a time travel arc. No-one cares after his background is revealed and Future Trunks gets to indulge in Catharsis Factor by destroying Future Cell. Cell certainly doesn't, since he acts like he's from the same world despite the "present" being 20 something years ago for him, and doesn't even consider attacking his OR Trunks' timeline. You'd think he'd be at least slightly amused on the idea that if he wins, Trunks won't come back and the Cell of that timeline's going to screw them over
Why would he care about the destroyed future...?

What other reason is there for him to be from the future?
Also, he killed the Trunks from his own timeline, why would he attack anything there? That doesn't have the Androids, which are his goal.
He also can't attack Future Trunks' timeline, he knows nothing about it or even how to operate the time machine (it was pre-programmed).
Really not sure what point you're trying to make.
I suppose that might explain it.
Would you say it fair to say Frieza was the biggest influence in Cell's personality, or does he just come off that because they're both pure evil? Or would Goku or Vegeta be more of an influence on his personality instead?
I'm wondering if the accusations of him being a Frieza clone have any merit

Where is the Freezerator in Cell's personality...?
The Saiya-jin desire to get stronger and want challenge is a genetic thing apparently...
His personality wouldn't be affected by the characters' DNA...

Everyone cries in this show.

I was just checking out the clip of Krillin's first death, and while Goku is clearly distraught (and angry), he's not crying there either. He didn't cry during Krillin's second death...but he was kinda busy then too.
I think the only moment left would be the return of Grampa Gohan at the end of the Red Ribbon Arc. Let me check.
Edit: Ok, so I looked, and when Goku is running towards Gohan after he reveals himself, we see what is probably tears flying off his head. He didn't seem to be crying before then, but he might have started after. Here it is (at 29 seconds)
I'm not patient enough to check other moments, but it seems crying is pretty rare for Goku in the actual series.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I haven't cross-referenced all moments to check whether this is accurate, but I think Vegeta cries out of frustration (vs Freeza), Goku cries out of sadness (missing Grandpa Gohan and Roshi), and Krillin cries out of happiness (that one moment where Goku comes back and Krillin tackles him out of the plane).
Either frustration or desperation...

Dabra was the True Final Boss who showed up just as he thought things were over and proved far more formidable than the Disc-One Final Boss.
Buu was the optional Bonus Boss who Trunks was too much of a scrub to take on.
