Yeah, overall i much prefer everyone's showing in the anime to the manga.
And man, a lot of people hating in the human characters here.
Watch the tournament arcs in og Dragon Ball. The King Piccolo arc too.

I agree. Frost taking everyone out was a little entertaining but didn't show anything interesting from anyone aside from Frost (aside from Comfrey having super strength). Hit and Goku vs Jiren ruined Hit by getting rid of his entire fighting style and turning him into just another boring generic fighter. Kale vs the Pride Troopers as a team could've been cool if the Pride Troopers had their anime-exclusive superpowers, but as the "exclusive" part indicated, they were just generic fighters too. I actually don't remember any other fight from the manga, and the ones I do recall don't really qualify as "fights", such as Kale vs Anilaza.
The Saiyan girls vs Freeza is the one good fight in the Tournament of Power manga, and it's not even as good as its anime counterpart; the Saiyan girls vs Goku (round 2, specifically), which is one of my favorite fights in this whole franchise.

You mean like people are tired of hearing about Saiyans all the time? Which happens more often.
You're not making any sense.
Yes, exactly!

Even as someone who does wish the humans got to do more (as Toriyama has always kinda pushed them aside, though Krillin not as much), I can get being sick of this dead horse topic.
I think when it comes to humans in DBZ, all sides get a bit testy.
...Can't understand a word of that, so can't really laugh at it.

Literally nobody was talking about Saiyans. No one.
This line of conversation always comes up because people never stop talking how the humans should be relevant or constantly lamenting that they aren't.
And this has been happening for years. So yea, excuse me for being a little irritated by the constant repetition since being here.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. The Buu Saga was seven or so years after Cell was defeated. Maybe he was just a couple years off.
Although, since getting special moves from DNA is bullshit already, maybe he got some genetic memory from Freeza and did know about Beerus?
Forever liveblogging the AvengersOr ideally, if he had a fun enough time he'd put off destroying the planet for ten years.
Or if he killed Gohan without destroying Earth, he'd come back in ten years and finish the job.
One Strip! One Strip! Is it wrong for me to ask more about Cell and expect more of a detailed and complex character than we already got. I keep asking about the nature of whether he was destined or not to be evil and what his true purpose was, but I'm pretty sure Toriyama just wanted an evil Frankenstein's Monster and didn't think of any nuances for the second Bait-and-Switch Boss. Hell, I'm almost convinced that the only reason Cell is from the future is to tie into the time travel plot since being from the future plays little in Cell's characterization.
Yes, it is wrong. You should only expect more if he went with rebellious creations...which already happened.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. It's kind of an issue that you're asking what his true purpose was as if it wasn't extremely blatant.
Him coming from the future is important, because if he was from the present there would be way more divergence from the future timeline and it'd be harder to reconcile.
And it gives Trunks a more appropriate 'final boss' for when he returns to his own timeline, really making use of the strength he developed.
Nah, it was definitely a final boss...
Trunks just grinded to be Over Leveled...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. He went back in time to be strong enough for the penultimate boss, but overachievered.
I get that feeling.
Totally.
Too bad honestly.
If Cell wasn't involved he actually would've legit been just strong enough for the challenge.

Or just being sick makes it difficult for Goku to fly for an extended period of time. It's really not a good example.
Not everyone accepts the V Jump battle power because it's pretty sketchy, and the tense of Vegeta's wording doesn't matter if he's referring to multiple instances.
