Another behind the scenes interview from "Dragon Ball Frontline" series, this time on Super: Broly's director Tatsuya Nagamine. Translated by Herms:
Interesting stuff. I thought those two newcomers would just be one-note Frieza henchmen, but it looks like they're more involved with Broly himself.
You are not alone. The typical episode of anime having 4,000 animation frames as the standard maximum is a quite shocking revelation to me. There are about 18 minutes in each episode, not including the opening and ending. That works out to only about 3.7 new animation frames per second. In a 24 fps show. Geez, no wonder they reused animation so much, and no wonder there's so many long reaction shots just with characters talking. I'm never complaining about reused or looping animation ever again.
On the plot details: interesting that Lemo's wrinkles are actually indicative of old age, I was thinking he was just a naturally wrinkly alien. Curious what Chelye's relationship with Broly will be. Maybe Broly's getting a waifu? Or maybe she has pity for him and he kills her the second he's able, one of the two.

Yeah. It was small, but I'm so glad they had Videl immediately call bullshit on Barry's trick.
In so many other anime, that gambit would have worked and said female would have never been called out on such a lack of trust.
Videl is better than that.
Videl for next Super Saiyan. Then revive Spopovitch so she can finally kick his ass.
One Strip! One Strip! Not really. Being realistic, photographic evidence of your partner kissing someone is a pretty fucking good reason to think they're cheating on you, especially when you don't have anything to cast doubt on it.
Barry thinking this would make Videl interested in him was dumb, but as a plan to spite Gohan it should've been more effective than it actually was. Notably no-one actually cleared up the misunderstanding with Videl, she accepted that Gohan was innocent without evidence or him even saying so.
While this kind of plots are cheap and annoying, I don't think it would have been bad for Videl if she had been suspicious. That would be entirely reasonable in her situation.
Well, they didn't really get the chance, since Watagash Barry came back mere moments later.
I'm sure Videl did want to ask what really happened, and probably did later. I don't really mind that we never saw it. As I said, it shows a level of trust that's often ignored in these situations for the sake of either comedy or drama.
One Strip! One Strip!

I think it just affects them like that in general, doesn't matter if they're a supreme kai or not. Zamasu was still in training when he turned evil, yes?
Kid Veggie is apathetic AS. Also, acting...bess scene.
